You say it is a contrail and not a chemtrail?
The colors are interesting, never seen color like that in a contrail photo, probably sun light refracting off the moister = rainbow.

Maybe I'm just wierd but I find it depressing photograph, really bringing home the level of destruction we are reaching on our beautiful planet with our technology. Amazing and disturbing this one.........'monkey gone to heaven' by the pixies ringin in my head now.....

Looks like a low-altitude shot to me, so I suspect that the contrails could have been influenced by ground lighting. However, it almost looks like the ligh is actually coming from the trailing edge of the plane.

do you know for sure this is a photo, it does not look like a photo, it looks like a drawing. a good one though. how did the flash from the camera manage to light up the entire bottom of a plane at what seems like should be quite a distance? i dont know, nice picture though

That one is great! You can even see the wake vortices behind it with the contrail.

The first one could be real, there is a lot of Light reflected from the earths surface (how else would it be visible from space?). It might be brightened, but not by much.
