Gordon Brown: A new hope?

Gordon Brown is probebly going to be the new Labour leader when Blair "finally" steps down from office. What I find strange about Brown is not really him, but his supporters. They look to him like he'll be their messiah, or at the very least, a fat faced Hercules that will clear the Augeun stables of the Blairite crap which the Brown supporters really don't like..If he was a movie, he'd probebly be Episode IV: A New Hope. Or Flash Gordon, or something like that.

I dunno about Brown taking over. Will there be other candidates facing Brown? If so, are they high ranking ones? When is Blair retiring?

from what i've seen of Brown it will just be more of the same of what we've been having to put up with from Blair, Brown just seem to sit there and take it while Blair walks all over him and destroy's the ideals that the Labour party was built upon.
