According to HUNT in chat a couple weeks ago, they're already working on the next game which is more general knowledge as opposed to topic specific.

So look out for that one soon.

Ooo, let it be Star Trek trivia! 40th anniversary 'n all. C'mo-o-o-o-n!!

The next one is going to be a real brain burner. Stay tuned...

I happen to know better than that.
I think you will really get into this next one. It's going to be a while before we're ready for launch but not too long. I'd keep my eyes wide open.

when you say that, are you speaking directly to me? If so, how do you know how much brain I have left? Are you monitoring my every move? I came to ATS to find out if the gov't and aliens really did that and I am now finding out that they don't but you guys do? what the hell is that all about?

second, if that was directed at me, the only way I will really get into the next one is if it is centered on my favorite pasttime, which I am most knowledgeable about. loafing, slacking and viewing erotica (porn). if that is what you guys are going to focus the next one on, I am telling the rest of you that I am already awaiting my confirm on the big win.

Thanks for the game(s) springer, SO, Simon and whomever else is involved with the public hazing that these things are becoming. And Val, my dear sweet Val, you who at some point offered to adopt me (I think you actually did but I never got the monogrammed diapers), how dare you punish me like this. Leaving me with a vacant stare, mouth open and drawing flies as the drool pools in my lower jaw and slides over my lips, down my chin onto my shirt.

how dare you Val. How dare you all.

how long did you say we'd have to wait for the next one?

And I just wanted to make sure credit is given where credit is due. While I did, in fact, develop all of the questions and answers (except for the last one which was a joint effort between SO, Springer and myself), it was the evil SO who took several of them and made them brain-twisters by scrambling them and such. Also, it was the evil SO that made all the picture puzzles.

Anyway, I just wanted to tell you guys it was a whole lot of fun developing this for you. And it was fun (AND TERRIBLY PAINFUL AT TIMES) watching you guys go through this.

You're a bizarre bunch of folks for sure because over and over there were questions we thought would be extremely difficult for you guys that you would just blow through and then you'd get hung up for days on what we thought were simple ones!

LOL - anyway. Congratulations to Freenergy and all the Sumo winners. Our daughter really likes hers. But I hope Free has a pretty good sized house because three Sumos take up a lot of floor space!

Thanks Val, but only two Sumos. I've still got some floor space though!

you don't win a sumo as part of the grand prize? I figured that was a given. They sponsored the damned game.

(suggestion: if you did win a third, why not hold some kind of lottery for the folks that didn't win but helped us thru the game? unless you want that third pillow).

Nope, the grand prize was the domain, just as in FATE. And, if a Sumo was part of the grand prize, I certainly would honor your suggestion.

And that's why there will be an "MVP" who wins a SUMO.

We haven't decided yet how we are going to choose the MVP but it will most likely be a vote of those who played... Be thinking about who you think did the MOST COLLABORATING, was the MOST ALTRUISTIC, etc... player.

That's the Player we want to give the final SUMO to.

Any chance of seeing some post game stats ?

like total unique hits to game page, for example,

or most posts, most correct answers type of stuff ?

Any way to narrow the field would be helpful as there were quite a few,

deserving for different reasons, all falling under the stated theme.

-Another question , are our foreign players out of the running ??

MVP? All I can say is shaudenfut. Anyone that can find that deserves to do the deed whilst resting comfortably in the space agey softness of a sumo lounge.

the most valuable player didn't necessarily answer the most questions. Someone who tossed ideas and areas to research might have led someone else to the right answer. I had a coupld of answers that someone else had posted links or even tries for and I just reworked their answers and found the magic key.
