I think the members here need to help improve the quality of BTS. BTS has a more leisurely feel to it than ATS has, but that does not mean the quality of the site has to suffer. The General Chit Chat forum is a place to "Talk About Anything Really. A Place To Make Posts Of An Unrelated Nature" and I think that forum should stay that way. All the other forums on BTS have topics and the threads and posts made in those forums should remain topical. I feel that members have become too relaxed when posting on those forums, and do not post the same quality as they do on ATS. A thread in the movies forum may not be as serious a topic as a thread about the war in the middle east, but that does not mean the quality should not be the same on both threads. The motto of ATS is to "deny ignorance" and that should apply to all of the forums that are part of ATS. TheTerms And Conditions Of Use still apply to BTS. If members follow the rules and make the quality of posts the same high quality posts that are made at ATS and PTS; I think BTS could become a much better site. I know the members here can rise to the challenge and come out on top.

Here are two examples of problem threads I am talking about. I am not singeling out any posters, I just used two random threads as examples.

BTS is supposed to be for fun...a relaxed atmosphere where members don't have to worry about the seriousness that ATS and PTS require.

No need to worry about "quality" on BTS because it's not a serious board, it's just for crazy let your hair down FUN! Dig it?

but its the bts.

whats the deal? mad cause people went off topic in your thread and were like "ugh god I hate paris hilton"?

Should they be warned? Don't wanna assume thats what you're thinking.

High Quality posts about The Simple Life? lawl, good luck on that bro.

I'd figure stupid pharm threads would've pissed you off more.

There are certain limits, though. I have seen that if it comes to the attention of staff, that certain threads are getting out of hand, they will intervene and try to keep it somewhat orderly.

BTS motto - Deny Boredom.

Long live BTS!

I do not care what people think about paris hilton. I care about people sticking to the topic of the thread. A thread has a topic no matter which forum it was made at and the posts in that thread should stick to the topic.

Kinglizard, BTS is more of a relaxed atmosphere than ATS and PTS, but members should no be relaxed when it comes to the quality of posts. For example, if I made a thread in the music forum about a song I like and just posted, "The song is cool
", would you want to read that thread? I know I would not want to read it, because there is no substance and is just a post full of fluff. I think all posts should have substance, but you are free to have your own opinion.

I'm not suggesting there are no "limits" Mechanic 32.

I'm saying BTS is for fun and moderated differently. Can you attack other members on BTS? No. Can you post pornography? No. Can you spam the board? No.

The Terms and Conditions still apply to BTS but again the board is fro fun and we won't come down on you for short posts or one liners...that type of thing....

Have fun...

Thank you but it's not my opinion that counts. The owners of the board set the rules, moderators just enforce them.

So if you think it is ok to have posts full of fluff and nothing else, you can keep on doing nothing to improve the quality of BTS.

Inappropriate and offensive comment noted. Thank you for your opinion, we will give it all the attention it deserves.

I suggest you calm down a little infoseeker. Perhaps go over to BTS and chill.

As Kinglizard has taken the time to point out to you BTS is a more relaxed area than either ATS or P@TS. I once heard a member refer to it as more of a coffee shop and that analogy has stuck with me, because I thought it so apt. You want to talk about the classics while taking a coffee? Feel free to do so. You want to talk about something that was of no consequence but made you giggle? Again, feel free to do so.

If you are at a party and the topic of conversation doesn't suit you or seem up to your standards perhaps you might move onto another crowd. If you don't like a particular BTS thread I suggest you do the same.

Staff here work hard in attempt to make ATS, BTS and P@ATS a better place for us all to enjoy. It's nice then to see your attempts at belittling them for their efforts.

Your opinions and suggestions are welcome as is the case with all members.

Your insulting manner is not.

I'm sorry, i did'nt intend to imply that you had suggested that,

and the rest of my post, should have cleared that up.

I did not mean to inslut kinglizard. I sent him a u2u to appologize. The staff do a great job here at ATS. I really am sorry if I offended anyone.
