It's a question I heard yesterday, and I thought I would ask the members here.

IF Hezzbolah were to unilaterally agree to stop all aggression, would Isreal then stop on it''s own? Or do you think Isreal would continue until there were none of the enemy left?

Conversely,
If Isreal were to unilaterally make the same agreement, would Hezbollah then stop of IT's own volition. Or would they continue the killing, regardless of Isreals choice to disarm?

You might even extend this question, and ask it of Somalia, or Iraq, or Kashmir..

The reasons for taking up weapons in the first place would have to be addressed first, no?

No, because Hezbollah is untrustworthy.

Or do you think Isreal would continue until there were none of the enemy left?

That'd be the smart thing to do.

Isreal already did so when it left lebanon.

Quick comment on this.
If Hezbollah droped their weapons tomorrow and surrendered, this would be over.
If Israel dropped their weapons in an attempt to end this. Hezbollah, would bomb every city in Israel.
There is no bargaining with terrorist.

I think Israel is in this for the long haul they want the endof Hezzbolah, Even if they do stop all agression, whats to say they wont attack or kidnnap soldiers or even worse citiens in the future.

Israel wants the end of Hezzbolah and they will not stop unless someone stops them, But who is gonna?? The U.S. influence is deteroaiting so is the International communities influence on the region. Maybe about time the US slapped ISRAEL down, and the international community to take out hezzbolla once and for all.
