Yeah, but I'm still not sure Channell Four would have taken a risk like that........if there was a real risk at al, I think they would have been swamped by protestors and "Quality Assurance Boards"....who knows, it made good TV anyway

There was no danger because Derren can read people like a book and put ideas in their heads, so most likely he had subconciously told the guy what chamber to put the bullet in through suggestion. No need for C4 to panic because they knew he would not fail, if there was any chance of that he wouldn't have done it himself.

The whole point of the exercise was that he could pick someone weak minded enough so that he could do it in complete safety, no illusion here guys. Anyone who has watched his shows before know what he's all about, he's not a magician or illusionist (although he has done it in the past).
