This is a MySpace parody I put together for an ad campaign at work...We're just floating ideas around right now and we haven't really decided on this or a few other options yet...

Our target audience is teenagers in high school who may be at-risk for substance abuse...

I know some of you are in high school and maybe could tell me if you think you and/or some of your peers could relate to this...Do you get the message...Is it funny? Or is it laid on too thick?

If we created a MySpace page, would you add a group like this to your friends list?

Just fielding this one and wanted to see if I could get some feedback - Of course, you don't have to be in high school to reply with your thoughts

I got the message from the first picture, and I presume most people will. I found it rather funny, especially the last reply from his Mom, that hits home the message and with an amusing note.
The message isn't laid on too thick, if anything its a nice soft approach.

Sure

I found it funny but it wouldn't make me think seriously about the message.

That had my laughing hard!

It's very funny but I don't actually think the message is too clear.
