Like a lot of us, I've been spending a lot of time with the Google map facility. Having a peek around at Edwards AFB, I found these aircraft parked

maps.google.com... 940987,-117.889491&spn=0.005547,0.007703&t=k&hl=en
(You may have to zoom in a bit)
Are these F22s?
The other brownish-coloured plane in the shot looks like it may be a Tornado!

The one in the middle definitely looks like an F/A-22, but the one on the bottom left of it could be an F-15.

The brown one reminds me of a MiG-23 Flogger.

Actually it looks like the brown plane has ordnance on it. F-16 jumped to mind, but I doubt any are brown. Then again is it even a plane?

Anyone seen the SR-71? It's at the bottom left corner of the base with other aircrafts

If u look at the runway there's an aircraft above it(think it's takin off) and its shadow on it too

Hey everybody. First post here. Just wanted to point out that if you scoll up to where the giant compass rose is, and look next to the number 270, you'll see the 747 that NASA uses to haul the space shuttle around. A little bit above that, you can see the red gantry that is used to load the shuttle on the back of the 747.

Up the road, to the NE of the "what-the-heck-is-that" plane, sit 2 very ready-looking Habus. Also, a black and a white jet-set. I think the white one is an Eagle; not sure about the black one.

Is this the aircraft you are talking about?

This is still by far the sexiest thing you could see on a flightline, the 2 SR-71's at the bottom:

I think it's just an F-15 with the shadows making it look like it's shape is different.

can anybody use a program to zoom in more and see it better? could tell us more
