Question about closing threads

This may be a real stupid question, but what the heck I'll ask anyways. What would happen to a regular member if he/she replied to a thread with big bold letters saying "Thread Closed"?


They would probably get a warning perhaps??

Well a better way would be just to u2u an online staff member or use the suggestions,

Or an even better way would be, if you see a thread thats been done before on the same day or still on page 1 of that forum ..... Find the other link..... let the member know that its been covered and still ongoing...

I know that U2U'ing a mod is the best idea. It would look funny if a regular member did it though. And a lot of people would probably stop posting. I'm just in one of those "causing havok" moods tonight
