The US lost 58k over more than a decade in Vietnam. Russia has lost nearly ten times that in two years.

I don't mean to be a total heartless bitch, but maybe Putin shouldn't have invaded a country because they didn't want to be Russia's puppet state? And more Russians than Navalny could grow the intestinal fortitude that stand up to their Vietnam. But are too afraid.

Shows the difference in standard of Freedom. Few Russians burning their conscription papers (or whatever their draft cards are called), not really covering the ones fleeing to join Ukraine, no hippies, no free love, no mass uprisings of youth, no protests. Russia avoided the 60s.

Why should I care about a dictatorship that does it to itself?

I blame Putin for their deaths and willingness to line up to die.

I feel for the dumb kids so brainwashed they don't know any better, but my sympathies are still with the country that wants to join NATO down the road.

And it couldn't have been done without our billions in aid. 60 more on the way. It may seem like a fiscal waste, but US and NATO just destroyed Putin's military without declaring war on him, and sent a powerful message to what an Article V engagement could look like.

AND had the US not supplied all the weapons the death toll would have been 2% of those on both sides and would have been long over and a distant memory but alas the US continues to send more weapons, ammunition and $$ so the death toll will Continue rising on both sides

45 countries have given aid to Ukraine, military and humanitarian, including many former Soviet possessed countries.
Funny how Russia happily accepted all of the military aid from lend lease in WW2 when they were invaded..
But when they are the invader it's a problem...

According to the BBC, the number is about fifty thousand.

That's still enormously high for a modern war. The higher figure is absurd. The US didn't lose 460,000 personnel in all of WW2.

Meanwhile, of course, Israeli forces have killed 34,000 in Gaza in just six months. Of course, those were mostly civilians; so I guess it was easier.

What countries neighbor Ukraine? After you figure that out, ask yourself what would happen when the West shows weakness and Putin feels even more emboldened?
At that point you will have regretted not helping a sovereign nation defend itself from an aggressor.

In contrast, in Vietnam, the USA only lost 58,000 in 11 years.

The Russians are taking a beating in Ukraine.
They only lost 15,000 in 10 years in Afghanistan.

A lot of folks drink some of their own urine, and some even loop-it ( Drink all of it. )

Old tradesmen used to pee on their hands every day or two, to help the healing and cracking.

In Japan they collect pee from the bathrooms, and make medicine with it.

If you've ever used a cream with urea, well, that's made from pee.
