Not only that, but the Senate passed a two year reauthorization of FISA.

So apparently a majority of Americans WANT WWlll and also WANT to be spied upon. It's BS like this "article" that spreads disinformation:

Key Findings. Six in 10 Americans favor providing both economic assistance to Ukraine and sending additional arms and military supplies to the Ukrainian government (58% each). Majorities of Democrats (75%) and Independents (54%) favor providing military aid to Ukraine, which a majority of Republicans (53%) oppose.
globalaffairs.org...

Bull fkn snip!! LOL. If that's the case, and those numbers are legit, then screw this experiment, you all deserve every ounce of misery coming your way for your moronic views and sycophantic support of your own doom that you're actually paying to have done to you, no less!!

Idiots.

Deck is way too stacked. Only thing that would even begin to redirect this disaster would be a revolution, but that's not going to happen either so all the political topics and posts here or anywhere else DON'T MEAN A GD THING.

The Democrat-Controlled House didn't even ASK Joe Biden to reduce the number of criminals coming into America through Mexico, let alone demand that he do so. Yet they provided $300 million specifically for Ukraine Border Security!

It's a wrap. Test after test the People failed miserably.

I'm open to suggestions on how to reel this in, however. I'm all ears. Anyone?

Well, they do keep voting for the same people who continue the status quo.

But I’d bet a good lot of them are just ignorant and see all of this as inevitable or out of anyone’s control.

Then what's the use in discussing what you ultimately can't control or even have a stake in changing??

Political debate is dead because there's no difference between either party and no recourse or remedy.

Still, I'm sure there's a solution, right?🙄

They had a vote for HR3602:
“Transnational Criminal Organization Illicit Spotter Prevention and Elimination Act

This bill provides for criminal penalties for certain conduct that interferes with U.S. border control measures.

Specifically, a person who knowingly transmits the location or activities of law enforcement with the intent to further a crime related to immigration, customs, or controlled substances may be imprisoned for a maximum of 10 years. A person who knowingly damages or destroys a device deployed to control the border or port of entry may be imprisoned for a maximum of 10 years.

Additionally, the bill provides for enhanced punishment for carrying or using a firearm in connection with certain criminal immigration violations such as assisting a non-U.S. national (alien under federal law) who is inadmissible due to a felony conviction.“

It needed a 2/3rds vote to pass. Vote was:
Yeas. Nays. Not voting
Republican 210 0 0 8
Democratic 5 199 0 9
Independent 0 0 0 0
Total 215 199 0 17

clerk.house.gov...

Bunch of BS!!

Also, The Dems were waving Ukraine flags on the floor after the money to Ukraine bill passed:

It certainly looks grim. 50%~ of the eligible electorate show up on a good day for a presidential election.

Then we have to ask ourselves, how many of them consume current events past their exposure to social media?

At the end of the day, we have a system that was designed by the people, to be run by the people. We have plenty of people, yet many of whom don’t want to participate more than once every four years, if that.

The system will and has been reflecting that reality. And when you have a situation where people can easily take power, they will.

Even sadder, many of the people who do keep up with things still act as if the salvation is in one of the two parties who got us in to this mess. They act like it wasn’t their parties fault even though that’s easily proven, plus, they’ve both been in power for around half of the time.

Well, there's no mistaking it now, but I'm sure the caretakers of the paradigm will continue their effort to convince us we're all relevant in this process. (Relevant = footing the bill)

BAMN through Uniparty collusion.

The only answer is a MASSIVE exodus to a third party, separating and solidifying the Uniparty so there no denying it's existence in order to expose it for what it is. They have delighted and enriched themselves playing us between the two for far too long, imo.

Perhaps some of you here are simply the minority and most of us believe in funding Ukraine.

My reasoning for supporting funding is that if you don't stop Putin there, he's likely to move on.

Some of us know 1930's history and don't wish to have that happen again. So, if we can let the Ukrainians do the real work there, it will be money well spent. Also, Putin is a murderous piece of garbage dictator who invaded a sovereign country. So, there's that.

It's a NATO/EU problem. Not the U.S. alone. All the Ukraine funding is a Treasury Loot scam.

And before anybody says NATO can't get involved, check History and check how many NATO Member Countries border Ukraine. 😀

Perhaps.

That is why I'll reiterate from the OP:

And NATO and the EU are doing their part. In fact they're all doing more than the US when you compare the amount they've supplied to their GDP.

Much of the right doesn’t think Biden is supporting Israel enough.

Yet we directly took out more of Iran’s munitions than Israel did last week.

I saw many on this board say we should directly hit Iran. Yet Israel is not a NATO nation either.

Yeah right🙄. That’s not your reasoning, it’s someone else’s fear mongering delusion. I read the same tripe in a couple of articles today, you’re just parroting their bs. They just want funding for a war that Ukraine will never ever win.

So those in control of all the funding , and any money laundering, get to pass a bill determining how much money they can money launder
I don't see a quick and easy way out of this corrupt mess, the whole system is corrupt.

Did you catch the above video of the left's standing, roaring cheers and flag waving while the right just sat there in protest even though a majority of them voted for the same thing??

It's ALL HORSE HOCKEY BS that's ruining our country, our lives and futures. Screw both parties.

As it pertains to the People, Congress has become a national security threat.

What? They can designate Americans that way but we can't characterize them in the same manner for obvious and blatant reasons??

Alrighty then.🤦

And without the warrant requirement, so it will be interesting to see how that plays out.
