Hello ATS!

The fire and explosion at defense enterprises in England and the United States, which occurred over the past two days, could be sabotage, says the head of a private intelligence company, FSB reserve officer Roman Romachev.

In his interview with the Paragraph news agency, published on the Telegram channel, he said that behind these incidents there may be people who do not agree that power in the West is being seized by defense corporations.

“Power there was seized by the military-industrial complex. They, with the help of their lobbying tools and think tanks, form those narratives that whip up hysteria - they make enemies out of Russia, Iran, North Korea, in order to increase the budget for the military-industrial complex again and again,” Romachev said and added that people started this understand that forces have emerged that do not agree with this situation.

According to him, ordinary workers and employees may be involved in the incidents, “some of them, at a certain moment, when there was such an opportunity, began to carry out sabotage and sabotage.”

On April 16, a fire and explosions occurred in the American city of Scranton at a weapons factory producing 155 mm caliber shells. for Ukraine.
On April 17, a similar incident occurred at the ammunition production plant of the British company BAE Systems in Wales.

Roman Romachev is a former FSB officer, founder and head of the R-Techno company, has more than 20 years of experience in the field of business intelligence, and has successfully implemented hundreds of projects in the field of competitive intelligence. He is the author of a dozen relevant articles on business intelligence, and has published two books in co-authorship with other colleagues. Author and developer of several software products for business intelligence and business security. Member of organizations:

- Council of International Investigators (CII);
- expert of the International Counter-Terrorism Training Association.

Once upon a time, 10-15 years ago, I was very interested in competitive intelligence, its principles and methods. They help solve problems both in work and in personal life. Finally, it is very fun and educational. Therefore, I take Romachev’s statement very seriously.

Thank you.

Pffft .. like this guy sitting Russia is going to know that? Poppycock. He has no special knowledge. He hasn't been to the sites and investigated. He hasn't interrogated any employees. He's just spewing word vomit. No credibility and no reason to listen to him.

BTW ... haven't heard of any fires at 'defense enterprises' in the USA or England.
If there were, it's not a big deal. The news isn't picking up on it.

Incompetence and superficial judgments are the scourge of Western society, reflecting its degradation.
You should first familiarize yourself with the principles and methods of competitive intelligence, and only then make such stupid judgments.

It was very well contained.

A witness told the South Wales Argus: "It wasn't that loud from where I was but it felt like an earthquake. My car shook."

Allegedly,

. . . the explosion occured "in a remote part of the site that had been set aside to take apart shells".

"I am told there is always a small risk involved in this particular operation . . .

Sabotage is always a possibility within the armaments industry. I expect everyone is very well watched and tested.

Which includes right out lies through propaganda.

Or maybe preventing music hall attacks instead of arresting political opposition.

Your post is very typical. You equate terrorists with the political opposition. Let's see how your principle will work in the West.

The worst part is letting the attack happen after being forewarned and advised of the situation.

Then again Putin's agenda is far more important than the lives of Russian civilians.

Hence the spin lies and hyperbole spewed forth from his puss that surround the horrendous act of depravity.

Key Findings

From 2017–2021, United States fire departments responded to an estimated annual average of 36,784 fires at industrial or manufacturing properties (including utility, defense, agriculture, and mining properties). The associated annual losses from these fires included 22 civilian deaths, 211 civilian injuries, and $1.5 billion in direct property damage.

There were 939 fires in Russia in 2023, compared to 416 in 2022. This means that the number of fires in Russia increased by 125.7% in 2023 compared to the previous year.
And there was a 24.5% increase in fires in 2022 compared to 2021.

I love propaganda. “This means that the number of fires in Russia increased by 125.7% in 2023 compared to the previous year.” Must mean a serious sabotage problem in Russia.

And much of your posts are based on right out lies. If your were more concerned about truth than spreading blatant propaganda you could have some legitimacy. Your posts are more reminiscent of a KGB stooge.

Firstly.
Is it Wales or England?
The fact that both are stated contradicts itself which in turn casts obvious doubts to the reports credibility.
It can't be both.

You do understand that don't you?

Secondly.
Any supportive evidence at all?
Without any its just opinionated speculation.

Thirdly.
Any comment on the many attacks in Russia by anti-Putin Russian forces, domestic opponents to Putin's invasion of Ukraine and Ukrainian Special Forces etc?

If it was an act of sabotage as you claim, then the Russian agents are natural suspects. Russia is already waging a hybrid war against NATO, attacking underwater infrastructure, performing cyber attacks and messing up GPS signals. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they switched to blowing up ammunition factories in the West.

I'm not saying that I'm sure of that. Incidents at ammunition factories happen and they don't have to be acts of sabotage. But before we know the results of the investigation, I wouldn't exclude Russian machinations from consideration.

Just an accident mate that's been contained and controlled.

Not any sort of indication of sabotage or a terrorist attack whatsoever on our end.

"We can confirm that there was an incident at our Glascoed facility in Wales this morning," she said.

"Tried and tested safety protocols were immediately enacted and emergency services attended the site.

"All personnel are accounted for and there were no injuries.

"Our emergency response team continue to monitor the facility and a full investigation has been launched."

Internal opposition in Russia exists only in Western propaganda media. In reality - Ukrainian special forces and Western mercenaries operating using terrorist methods.
By the way, during the last landing in a village in the Belgorod region, military correspondent Poddubny showed a video of the death of two Americans. One was shot by a sniper, the other was killed by a shell explosion.

And yet another russian military factory goes boom in 3...2...1
