I vote this the most hypocritical thread to date.

So much for the 2nd amendment.

So much for you and your ilk actually doing something about a textbook example of the type of person who should be punished for breaking the law. Why shouldn't she be charged for an illegal handgun? You are accusing us pro 2nd amendment types of being hypocrites, but it seems to me you gun-grabbers do not practice what you preach! She admitted under oath she possessed it for multiple years! It seems that when push comes to shove the left has nothing to offer but excuses for not prosecuting laws they push for in the first place. So much for zero tolerance for illegal guns!

Oh, Please!

The gun crowd on here doesn't think guns should be illegal or registered.

They're going after the person because of who she is.

Who she is (a crazy drug addict) is just the icing on the cake.

Regardless of who she is…

She’s has admitted to illegally owning an unregistered firearm.

What do you think about people who illegally own unregistered firearms?

Will you be the first gun grabber in this thread to clutch your pearls about it?

Is this the gun grabbers kryptonite?

To be fair, I view unregistered weapons a bit like unregistered vehicles. It's only a problem if you are endowed with below average intelligence or bare minimum to nonexistent civic values. And forcing people to register either technology has never fixed either of those qualities. Not to mention the laundry list of fees that are cost prohibitive for citizens who just want to defend their homes. Sometimes the tool takes all your spare cash which is why you need to fight like hell and protect what precious little you own.

My two cents🍺

I agree...it seems people don't understand the phrase "shall not be infringed".

As others have stated, this is about hypocrisy.

Hunter is on film smoking crack with an unregistered gun. The only reason he is facing charges is because his original plea deal, which got him out of the gun charges, got so much backlash.

Now we have Miss Rape Is Sexy with an illegal handgun in NYC. So she "turned in" her gun until they give her a license. Then she gets it back.

Then we have Trump convicted and fined for a "crime" that really doesnt exist. Even AOC said RICO is not a crime.

I know Anne doesn't get it, but most are starting to see it.

Oh the police are holding the gun until she gets a permit. Interesting.
Do all people who are found to have an illegal gun in their possession get this treatment?
Does the NYPD hold guns for all the people who don't have permits at the time the Police found them in possession of the gun? No?
They why the # does she?
And people tell me there is not a two tiered justice system in The United States these days!

Don't have a clue, again I'm not in New York.

That would be against the TnC.

Certainly, a two-tiered justice system where the likes of the rich and poor are concerned.

I am not going to do reseach for everybody today, but I give ya'll a story to look up in NY. There are a few to choose from.

Look for the guy convicted for unregistered guns in NY. They were antiques passed done for generations. 5 years.

Look for the woman who had a restraing order against her ex. Killed him when he attacked her in the middle of the night. She is in prison for gun enhanced murder charges. He at least, is no more.

Rikers is full of guys convicted soley of unregistered gun charges.

Hell, look up the NYS SAFE Act if you really want to know just how anti-2nd NYS is. And very harsh on the average citizen

Im sure Rikers is indeed full of guys convicted solely of unregistered gun charges.

I think if she was found to have possessed the weapon illegally then she should be prosecuted just like anybody else.

And she did admit to owning the thing in a court of law.

But she's apt to plead mitigating circumstances for having the thing like the fact that she was raped for instance.

The right or wrong of it after that would be for the likes of your district attorneys to decide whether or not to prosecute.

Federal law currently restricts firearm possession for individuals who are “adjudicated a mental defective.” The second Amendment has been tested against this before it became a law.

The jurors found that Caroll had not proven rape.
Therefore, Trump was NOT found to have raped E. Jean Carroll.

Saying it is a fact that Trump raped Caroll is wrong...if not slander.

Well Judge Lewis A Kaplan has indeed said Trump is a rapist and that is a fact.

As to proving rape, well that has to be with an actual penis in New York which is quite frankly a technicality.

As you know it was a civil as opposed to a criminal case, not that that sort of stigma washes off by my guess ether way given the outcome of the court.

Donald Trump was found liable for sexually abusing and defaming E. Jean Carroll, again thats another fact.

If it's slander I'm sure Trump will indeed sue.

Judge Kaplan has proved his bias against Trump throughout the trial.

I have no doubt he was both angry and frustrated that the Jurors felt Caroll could NOT prove her case for rape...even with Kaplan's best efforts to avoid that outcome.

Is your gun legally purchased and registered?
Unlike Caroll's?
