I’m with ya.
I turn 42 this year.
Other than not being a fan of my age, I honestly couldn’t care less.
However, my youngest daughter’s bday is next month.
She’s turning 16.
I’ve been hearing about her birthday plans since Christmas lol

I was so lucky my kids were not like that. Juat a nice family party at the house or a party with some close friends was all they needed. My Son turns 22 Tuesday. I asked him his plans. He said, nothing much just some video games and good food. I am gonna be 45 this year and am like.... weeeee who Flippin cares. Today is the same tomorrow is the same. People care more about my birthday then I do.

It's kind of like weekends. Like why do Monday through Friday workers can't wait for Saturday? Monday is just right around the corner and ya gotta do chores anyhow....

Let us know what happens with this David. I am kind of interested how things go with the trip or not trip.
