I am interested in the distinction you used, "alone"

Did it feel like you needed to be lead?
Did it feel like you needed someone in balance?

Was it a feeling that you needed some type of permission or approval?

What exactly was it, you felt like you didn't have, that you needed someone else for?

There is something similar to what you described that people commonly experience in some traditions referred to as "the abyss"

It is similar to the experiences such as the reflecting God, except it is designed to amplify and illustrate vulnerability, rather than a sense of love and safety

It is supposed to open you to understanding the root of certain fears which could hold you back

Was this experience, born of the negativity you said you needed to come back from?'

Or was the negativity, born of this experience?

Also, do you remember exactly what you were seeking, or trying to deal with when you experienced it?
