The Supreme Court's unanimous decision this morning hit Anti-Trumpers and Pro-Biden members of Congress, and the media, really hard...

Democrats announce bill to kick Trump OFF the ballot immediately after the Supreme Court ruled 9-0 that he could be allowed to stay on: The left melts down over ruling and even calls for court to be DISBANDED

Top Democrat Jamie Raskin said he is working with fellow liberals in Congress to revive legislation that would disqualify Donald Trump from running for office in light of the new Supreme Court ruling.

The high court on Monday ruled 9-0 that only Congress, not Colorado (or any other state), can ban Trump from the ballot, and the former president must be reinstated on the Centennial State's primary ballots.

Raskin, D-Md., who on the House Oversight Committee, said he was collaborating with colleagues like Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., and Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., to "revive legislation that we had to set up a process by which we could determine that someone who committed insurrection is disqualified by section three of the 14th amendment".

If Jamie Raskin gets a few Republicans to go along with this, Congress would immediately remove candidate Donald J. Trump from the race. That would leave Nikki Haley as the one who would face President Joe Biden this coming November. Wouldn't that be something!

But I question Democrat's clarity of thought, because Haley would beat Biden by 9 points, vs. Trump only beating Biden by 2 points, according to the latest polling data. What are they thinking? 🤷‍♀️

I'd question that polling data.

If Haley would beat Biden by 9 points, but Trump could only beat him by 2 points....

Doesn't that mean that, 1.) Haley is the stronger candidate going into the election, and most likely to win, and

2.)Haley, at least, is more popular as a candidate than Trump. Yet Trump is the leading GOP candidate?

Something isn't adding up.

Of course they would. The Democrats these days don't believe in the Democratic process that they claim to be protecting. Democrats used to be like JFK, but the Democrats of today would reject him and he'd never have a chance.

I've said this over and over....Democrats can't win on policy. They have nothing to offer Average America, so they have to find a way to cheat.

I've asked many times since 2020 "What have they done to make your life better" and get no answer other than "but but Trump".
They say Biden is not responsible for the high cost of living, that he doesn't set the prices for gas/groceries/utilities but they damn sure give him credit if prices go down.

She proudly called herself a 'globalist'.
That's what they want.
Putting everyone of the world first, not America.
She is 'their' choice.
And they are going to try to make it happen.

They want to invent a new amendment modifying the previous amendment because the supreme court didn't decide in their favor? So now they have to rewrite the rules?

That’s what the Dems want everyone to think.

In reality, Trump is probably 20 points up on Biden.

Facts.

The only thing the Dems have going for themselves is their sleight of hand con games.

All the polls over the last few months showed that a generic, younger, more traditional Republican (you fill in the name) would beat Biden. Likewise, a generic, younger, centrist Democrat would beat Trump. Basically, the electorate doesn't want to have to choose between two eighty-year-old codgers.

What you're not taking into account is that Trump doesn't care about the Republican Party winning. He only cares about himself personally winning, because that's probably the only way he stays out of jail. Personally, I think Biden could be convinced to drop out in favor of a younger Democrat candidate under some circumstances, but he seems to be confident he can win against Trump, even though a lot of the rest of us don't see what that confidence is based on.

Trump has a death grip on his base and his base has a death grip on the nominating process. There is a substantial fraction of the greater Republican Party that doesn't like Trump and doesn't think he can win, but that fraction doesn't control the nomination process. With Trump and his base, it's ride or die.

Yeah I don't believe that at all since I know most Republicans wouldn't vote for her. And in fact several conservatives said they would actively vote against her. And doesn't want her any where near the presidency. And looking at delegates the only place she won was DC and people will argue that is not the Republicans you want voting for you.

She also does not have the ability to pull in minority voters and that shows by her lack of delegates. Biden had 87 percent of the black vote on 2020 currently he is at 63 percent. Where are these 24 percent I suspect I know.
