SCIENTISTS claim they are making “incredible progress” in trying to bring the dodo back from the dead.

A genetic engineering company used DNA from a museum skull to fully sequence the species’ genome.

It is now developing genetically modified chickens to hopefully act as surrogate mothers to carry embryos.

US-based Colossal Biosciences has teamed up with the Mauritian Wildlife Foundation to find a site for its return.

we totally owe it to the Dodo to bring it back.
next maybe we can work on the Carolina Parakeet.

Wasn't they they the ones that ate all of the dinosaurs, causing the extinction of all of the dinos ?

Wasn't that time followed by the Dodocene era, where the only creatures left were the Dodos, so they turned to cannibalism, and then ate themselves to extinction ?
