I noticed the fear porn measles stories being pushed on the UK news a lot recently and Europe is experiencing the same according to the news .

I would rather trust a used car salesman than what they are pushing out as news .

Hurry get the children vaccinated --- NOT

And now with all the new laws that were signed into law the last few years and nobody objecting or even realising they were passed to keep us all safe interesting times are ahead of us .

And doesn't the measles look a lot like the rashes people were getting after the safe and effective covid shot

Have you also noticed the way doors and panels are falling off passenger jets recently?

Have you noticed what the thread is about? Can you post something relevant? Or is thread drift your goal?

If only we had a way to prevent measles.

measles has been with us a long time now, like the common cold, is it really that big a deal?

Unlike autism and ADHD which which have increased significantly in recent times, I wonder why that is?

Measles can be deadly that's probably why they would have to act swiftly to contain it.

Measles can be serious. Children younger than 5 years of age and adults older than 20 years of age are more likely to suffer from complications. Common complications are ear infections and diarrhea. Serious complications include pneumonia and encephalitis.

Nearly 1 to 3 of every 1,000 children who become infected with measles will die from respiratory and neurologic complications.

What does that statement even mean? “Nearly 1 to 3 of every 1000”

It’s either 1 out of thousand or 3 out of of a thousand, or corrected for averaging 2 out of a thousand. Instead they put NEARLY which doesn’t actually mean anything. I nearly fell off the ladder the other day, someone put that down as a statistic!

Could be probability statistics, anyway, even the possibility of one child dying should be considered as serious enough to take action to contain it.

I can't speak on that because I don't have the facts as to where it has or will spread. At this point they put a warning out to the public.

Yes, we know, hell even the Brady Family knew that way back in the 60's:

You do realize that those stats, just like essentially all of the stats relied on by pro vaxxers to terrify people into getting vaxxed, are extraordinarily skewed by including all of the deaths of those in 3rd world countries with no access to even things like clean water and sanitation... right?

Where are your sources to back up that claim?

It is a silly thread that is making the assumption that the local spread of disease that has existed for thousands of years (measles) is, somehow, a political power ploy.

Like specific silly people did with the COVID-19 pandemic where they still haven't realized yet that all the BS about the "great reset" and enslavement of the masses simply has not happened anywhere in the world.

In the COVID-19 case, the stuff every country did was actually to deal with a disease, and now that it is less of a problem, no-one is doing that stuff anymore.

But that doesn't stop the froot loops from rolling across the kitchen bench...

I'm just gauging how many "My kid died from the measles" threads I'll get to read.

Like what? The measles vaccine which has shown to be ineffective in a ton of cases, and to wear off with an increasingly short time with each vaccination, such as by the third vaccination, it wears off in less than a year for many people? You mean THAT way? Or how about: I had measles when I was a kid and am now protected for life.

Anything can be deadly sometimes. So what it "can" be? The fact is that the death rate for measles is lower than that of the common cold. The "nearly 1 to 3 quote is referring to studies done in third world countries only.

Not to mention that there are several treatments for measles including vitamin A, but of course no one wants to talk about that. They just yell "get the vaccine!" And oh, the vaccine is a live vaccine, so has been shown in many cases that those who receive it are contagious with measles for days afterwards.

Nothing is black and white. Trying to scare the crap out of people with measles is indeed hilarious.
