Who to believe? Spokesperson for China in U.S. says it was a weather balloon that accidentally floated into U.S. space and U.S. military says all the balloons floating around countries are deployed by Chinese military.

As far as John Ramirez, I've found him more credible than most remaining ethical from start to finish. He's done very few interviews since this all broke in 2017. Compared to many others he's had a modest interest in UFO's for years. He discusses what he can without a huge wind-up or clickbait garbage.

After the 5 star clown show we've become desensitized to it's easy to see why Ramirez is confusing to some.
He parses his words in exactly the same way anyone else with clearances does, from Clerks to Dept Heads. It's habit from the workplace very, very common. What we've been treated to are actual blowhards, so we mistakenly assume "normal" isn't, that someones hiding something or a disinformation geek.
