These kids are good

Some of you may remember Gerry Rafferty and the song "Baker Street". He was also a founding member of Stealers Wheel who played "Stuck In The Middle With You"

"Baker Street" came out in 1978 when I was just 14 and I remember it had a lot of play time on the radio.

I'm usually not a big fan of bands doing cover songs. There always seems to be something a little off and the vocals are just not up to par, but these kids are pretty damn good.

I do. As a bar band guitar player I played that song a Zillion times.

Guitar players of today can rip thru YouTube taught sweeps and taps....cool.

But get em in a band and say " Key of Bb" to a Whitney or ACDC or Taylor song? Can't play em, chord wise.

I've seen many phenomenal players who can rip leads but couldn't play 20-30 different songs each night.
