Hunter is not a government employee. So Oversight has no valid reason to subpoena him, unless it is related to matters of impeachment.

The DOJ has a very clear protocol they will not enforce any subpoenas related to an impeachment until a full floor vote is held.

would his being the bag man for money coming to the family from selling influence to Joe Biden count under the current scope of the Impeachment Inquiry?

Once again, the current impeachment inquiry didn't officially exist when he was subpoenaed. If they want to subpoena him now, they're more than welcome to do so and that subpoena will be binding.

If Hunter's testimony is so valuable, why are they more worried about recommending him for contempt charges and not issuing another subpoena? Why didn't they want to question him when he was there the other day?
