I would say more like it is a dance, nothing exists in total isolation.
'The same thing, different sides' feels like you put constrains on both strinngs of development that aren't necessarily spending the 'centre of their attention' always on each other.
Maybe one side inbetween to try new things that are occcupying all the capacities and have nothing to do with that other side of the same thing?

I think stuff is more complicated than 'dual' is what I am trying to say

I agree with you, a harmonious community is an important value. It shouldn't be too much of a mystery that there are other worlds outside the dome and each of them has its own reality and love exists in each of them as well.

My dark side was really just me struggling against reality.
That is probably why you are better now accepting urges or personality aspects that aren't what society says is 'good'

I like to think that is true though. Darker is relative, right?
Because I often find those are the same people who have strong... protector tendencies, like my turf, my tribe, my corn that is not useless even in today's 'democratic' society.
