Our lives got slightly better under Trump. Sure it's better than nothing but at that rate it would have taken 20 years to gain back 1/10th of what's been lost.

My business and personal finances got a LOT better when Trump was in office and the country was on the right track even if it wasn't there yet. Trump was by no means the perfect president, but he was a damn sight better some former presidents I could mention.

The sooner people realize voting isn't going to fix the mess we are in the sooner we can start aligning along class lines rather than political lines before we are all f***ed.

We are somewhat in agreement on this and I have said as much previously. We may not be able to vote ourselves out of this mess, but it is still an integral part of our representative republic and should be fought for and exercised without leaving undone the other things we need to accomplish as well to take back this country from those who would like to see it destroyed.

Like it or not you have more in common with your neighbors who have a pride flag than you do with any politician on any side of the aisle. Because at the end of the day when the SHTF Trump will be flying away to the same locations as people like Obama, Biden, Bush, Clinton, etc. It's your neighbors and local community who you will become dependent on.

Yes and no. In the town I live in at present, I would agree with you, because this is a reasonably close knit community, even with its quirks and marginally corrupt county government.
But if I were living where I was born and spent half my life, I wouldn't trust but a few people that I already knew at the time. I have little in common with them except the same struggles we all face in life, which wouldn't be enough to create an atmosphere of trust.

Biden's press people tried to say recently that everything is GREAT right now, but that anything that is bad is all Trump's fault, and that when Biden got in office it was really bad, everything was in a bad state because of Trump. And then also recently Biden said that anyone who thinks the economy is bad right now is out of touch with reality. So they contradict themselves and can't even offer up coordinated lies that no one would believe anyways, except for a few diehard Biden followers.

The Biden team are nothing but uncoordinated idiots. A romper room of badly raised children. But also very deadly and evil wicked people who have caused the deaths of millions. Causing a slow genocide through unbelievable stupidity and evil intent mixed together IS what Biden is doing. Making bank off of communists from China, and terrorist organizations.

The corporate tax rate is lower than ever - a paltry 21% when it should be increased because the Fed is in desperate need of more tax revenue!

The IRS is habitually underfunded and Congress recently proposed to cut funding to the IRS again

Our markets are criminally fraudulent but our regulatory agencies FINRA, CFTC, and SEC habitually refuse to investigate examples of market fraud and when they do any enforcement, it's always a fine that is like 1% of the amount of profit generated by the crime. The SEC has the authority to remove market access to market participants but they have never once thrown someone out of the market that I know of. Wall street criminals rarely ever face criminal penalties and for example Bernie Madoff had the whole 2008 crash pinned on him, but he was just a scape-goat. The 2008 crash happened because of something called mortgage-backed securities blowing up. Madoff had nothing to do with MBS - and his crime PFOF (payment for order flow) is actually legal to do today (but is immoral and a conflict of interest). The truth is our market is an abomination. If a casino was run by criminals who rig all the games so everyone who plays always loses their money, that's how our market is in reality.

The USA might as well be a banana republic for all the "enforcement" that happens here. We are not in a regulatory crisis we have an enforcement crisis. We don't need to pass more laws we need to enforce our laws. There are laws that prevent Congress members from trading stocks because they are insiders (the STOCK act) but there has been thousands of documented violations and nothing has happened to remove these people from office or arrest them. Why even have this law? Naked shorting is illegal but XRT has been over 400% short nearly every day for years on end. Who holds short sellers accountable? Who says "You must close out all your short positions and pay all your debts. Do not open any more shorts, close all of the ones you have"? Nobody. The USA is a lawless country run by criminals. We are not a nation of law, we are a nation of criminal despots who do whatever they want, and # all the poor people.

I am outraged at the arrogance of the premise of the OP. We have had nothing but trickle-down economics for decades, and these policies are finally failing like a flaming trainwreck (no surprise!) and the abusive assholes running this criminal empire are blaming it all on "bottom up economics"?

It's too bad so many old ATS threads have been removed. There was a thread discussing candidate Biden telling the audience in October of 2020, "I don't need your help getting elected, but I'll need your support after I'm in the White House.".

I definitely remember that. I remember the videos documenting Biden himself saying such things. An open admission that there would be election fraud, and no media asking one question. If Trump had said it, they would have run never ending expose's on it for years.

Amazingly, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said today that Americans can rest easier, because the 100% price increase on so many products was just a "blip". An Inflation rate we're comfortable with (about 2%), can be expected by the end of next year.

(A lot of confidence from someone who has been SO WRONG over the past 3 years!)

The Fed also announced that they are planning on cutting interest rates three times next year. This in turn lead to a 500 point jump in the DOW. It closed at over 37,000 for the first time in history.
