If Israel does go to full war against Iran, would the USA help her?

Why do you think they have two aircraft carrier groups there now and in addition to that start moving their A-10's to the region? If Iranian military move toward Israel the US will probably bomb them to oblivion. The other countries are unlikely to even try no matter how the Gaza strip ends up.

Even MBS puts all talks with Israel on hold, and turns around for a long chat with Iran?

El-Sisi reiterated on Sunday his country’s stance that Israel’s bombardment of the Gaza Strip had “exceeded the right to self-defence” and amounted to collective punishment.

Egypt’s tricky calculation as Israel’s assault on Gaza continues

Bibi really knows how to unite all his regional enemies into a single bloc, gotta give him that.

Yes , Egypt DOES NOT want Palestinians flooding back into Egypt. They have had their time with 'em.Kicked 'em out and built a wall.

No. Stop watching FOX-News for a day? Al Jazeera has a youtube with live reports, just saying...

Rafah was closed after the start of the conflict, as Israel repeatedly bombed it. Egypt claims its own side of the crossing remains operational, but the Israeli air strikes have significantly damaged infrastructure on the Palestinian side.

Why reopening the Rafah crossing is crucial amid Israeli bombing of Gaza

I can't even parse that as code for something.

And I don't want to agree with that, because I'm not privy to your mind. Are you familiar with Dadaism. That was like a Lobster Telephone post.

That one makes sense. I could have just looked it up too. See, I'm just an idiot.

"John has a long mustache" used in the original Red Dawn movie was actually used for the D-Day invasion in 1944. It was used in the movie "The Longest Day" about the Normandy invasion. It was copied in the script of Red Dawn.

Iran are stalling, as they need more time and money to set up a fireworks display to celebrate the next attack on Israel.

What's crazy about this is some of the Hamas defenders pretending Israel was behind the 10/7 attacks (or at least let them happen) say the reason was so they would have an excuse to attack Iran.

I'm sure Israel would be happy to have an excuse to bomb Iran's nuclear sites and other military infrastructure.

Iran's ability to directly strike Israel is limited to ballistic missiles.

Perhaps that's why the US is staging so many warships and other forces. Between us and Israel, we might be able to defend against most of Iran's missiles.

We'll undoubtedly take some losses, but I think we'll do way more damage to the Iranian regime than they will to us.

All of this is assuming Biden has the backbone for this, which is in serious doubt.

There's more to it than this.

Egypt (like many countries in the region) is already home to many Palestinians who have been forced from their homeland, as well as those fleeing conflicts in Sudan, Libya, Somalia, Iraq and Syria. They also have their own economic problems. Why would they want 1-2 million refugees that they don't have resources or infrastructure for suddenly forced on them?

There is also the fear that hamas could align with militant groups in Egypt who would already like to topple the govt. They obviously realise that if hamas was forced into Egypt they won't simply stop their armed resistance, which would the continue with Egypt as its base, opening them up to all sorts of instability and western backed reprisals and attacks.

Beyond this they realise that what is happening in Gaza has little to do with ridding it of hamas anyway. This is simply an extension of the ethnic cleansing that has been going on for 75 years. From their very formation Israeli regimes have used tactics not unlike a certain regime in Europe that they fled from. This Israeli regime are using this as pretense to further rid the area of millions of Palestinians and take more of what little land is left. At the moment the actions are in line with the rhetoric both of which are sounding and appearing more genocidal.

Why should Egypt be dictated to by Israel anyway? Even if we overlook that Israel propped up hamas because they hated the idea of a two state solution (PLO) and are now reaping what they have sown. If Israel's aim was truly humanitarian, they only have to open their own crossings up for Palestinian civilians and give them aid while they go in and defeat hamas who will surely stay there (lol). If you think that sounds stupid, look at it from Egypt's pov, it doesn't suddenly start sounding like a good idea just because it rids Israel of a problem.
