And yet, people will still criticize Rumble sources as bogus and see Youtube as a truthful source. It's a joke. And this proves , that we know who allows free/truth speech and who doesn't.

What do they know in the woke brigade??
If they've chosen Youtube then it's obvious why. You can't speak free and the far left loves it. They love the fact you can't criticise Marxism or the transgender religion.

Why anyone wants to use YouTube under these circumstances is a serious question.

The obscene publications act is a seperate matter.

No it's not, as it covers material on the internet.

Russell Brand is left wing.

Brand is "Money" wing and a 'new' conspiracy believer, who leans which ever way he can to make the most money.

We seriously do have thought police in the UK.

Be very careful if your autistic child tells a police officer that she looks like her lesbian grandma for example..
Therfe are many others..search for "non crime hate incident" if you wish.

And we all know the bill will be weaponized by the usual activist types to demand the cancelation of anyone who disagrees with their precious message. They will all have the "complain to ofcom" number at the ready in their phones and we will see people removed from platforms for their opinions on certain matters.

The egos of the Ofcom employess will swell as they find new ways to claim people are being offensive and must be removed from the hive mind.

Do you want me to give you a star for your post?!

Brand is left wing and everyone knows it.

Making money isn't a crime under capitalism unless you think it is, but most importantly it's unacceptable and outrageous that a government will interfere on the judicial process and ask online platforms to demonetize a citizen for whatever reasons.

You expect these actions in China, and not in the UK.

I truely believe there are far worse countries to live in than the UK, and America is one of them with their believe want you want as long as its not about gay or trans issues or having an abortion.
How about China and Winnie the Pooh wanting to control people through social media scores?
If it was as bad as some make out, we wouldn't be allowed on ATS as it leans further and further right after going from being British to American owned.

I edited my post to add " a 'new' conspiracy believer,"
Make of that all you want but sometimes I post a comment and miss out a line I wanted as I click to post.

Ofcom receives audience complaints and collects the data, then regulates, so it is actually audience-driven regulations:

www.ofcom.org.uk...

www.ofcom.org.uk...

Here is a list of the words the U.K. audience finds offensive in mild, moderate and strong order. A lot of these words are used on ATS regularly, just saying.

www.ofcom.org.uk...

Brand swings which ever way gives him the most dollars/pounds which is fine aslong as it's not knowingly pushing bulls**t just to make money in my opinion.

Shame on people who consider themselves liberals for supporting a bill like this - pay attention to your history:

Things that were once considered obscene:

1. INFORMATION about birth control - not just birth control but woman could not receive information about their bodies because it was considered obscene

2. Positive information about being homosexual - The "medical" profession officially considered homosexuals to be mentally ill. This was the standard and accepted view of the majority of professionals

I'm just posting two because right now these seem the "in" issues.

Do people really think ultra conservatives cannot get elected again and use these same laws to turn back the clock in civil rights?

Everyone should be upset about laws like these.

There are for sure far worse countries but sadly we seem to be on a path which ends up in the same place IMO.

You mention the social credit system of China-which is a true horror-well the first step to that system is the digital ID-which this bill contans-except they call it a "digital fingerprint."This will be required for all the main sites at first, but later will be for anytime anyone is online.

You said if it was that bad we wouldn't be allowed on ATS-again,this bill provides a path for that to become reality.
The bill applies to all websites accesible to a UK user-ATS included.
If "offensive"material is reported-by anyone-the website must remove the content or face huge fines-upwards of £10 million IIRC from Neil Wards video on the bill.

What happens if a website can't or won't remove the content or pay the fine?
The site is blacklisted and blocked from UK internet.

The entire bill masquerades as the saviour of children and the vunerable-yet the details look more like a political censorship operation IMO.
Funny how the WEF and the UN have been going on about implementing such a system for years and now its starting-The UK bill is only the first-Canada and Europe is next, then others.

I don't know the percentage of UK internet users who use Rumble, perhaps you could share a link.

Here you go.

therobusttrader.com...

The UK as a whole are not keen on Far-Right websites such as Rumble. The US seem to like it though.

How is simply free speech 'far-right' ? In case you didn't know Nazis were socialists , so far-left, and they did not approve of free speech because it would expose their true agenda . Truth speakers during WW2 would help and protect Jews and they would have to go underground and use secret codes to spreak. You still support banning free speech?
