Why would we need the interpretation of other people exept those of the holy spirit to acknowledge what is right and wrong.

The Bible is a collection of books - laws, prophecies, stories - that were put together by a CATHOLIC council in 397 AD. The Council of Carthage. I find this amusing because fundamentalist Christians scream that the Catholic church doesn't follow the Bible but it was Catholic men who wrote a chunk of it and put it together. Technically they are using a Catholic book.

Catholic is derived from the Greek Katholikos which means common or universal.

Yep. It's the Universal Church, but isn't all churches or all Christians.
It has a hierarchy and a self governing system in place.
And it had a council that reported to leadership in Rome
as it approved and disapproved books for inclusion in the Bible.
So the Bible is technically a Catholic church book that all Christians
are using.
