And yet in this labored biased screed, you dont mention what the pandemic did to employement...lol that rght there makes you disingenious and I stopped reading.

You also didnt mention that every.single.move Trump made was resisted by half the country because he 'wasnlt my president'.

Obama started the racial divide. Without the white vote, Obama would have never been elected once, let alone twice, but the DNC realized that they had messed up and took the racism card off the table when he won because all of the white people voted for him, they had to gin it up again, and here we are.

Why do you bother if you are going to lie by omission?

Is that why I don't see much praise for Joe, only hatred for Trump. Is that because ya'll dont want to be accused of tribalism?

Yes, but the devision and tribalism was started long before Trump though about running for office. The Democrats have split people appeat as they had planed to. Our current devider in chief proves it.

The tribalism is almost exclusively with the MAGA crowd, sad but not surprised I had to literally spell that out for you.

Few support Biden. He was elected because he was NOT Trump. He has never had the cult like following Trump or even Obama had.

Had the Democratic party not propped him up to be their guy, and found a candidate that was actually popular, the 2020 election would not be close.

Despite Trump's extremely loyal and loud following, there, he always had at least 50% of the voters against him.

After January 6th, Trump popularity dwindled, despite his loyal supporters doubling down on their support, those who will vote against against him is much stronger now, over 60%.

Even if Trump gets the GOP nomination, he will struggle to get 35% of the vote. Sure he will win some EC vites in deep red states but his chances of winning the general election without the strongest 3rd party candidate since Ross Perot is nil.

Democrats didn't split the nation on their own. They had plenty of help from the republicans.

You don't even have the self awarness of a fish.

You even say 'cult' like Obama had.. hahahahahaha And you don't find electing a guy like Biden, that nobody trusts, respects or even takes seriously, besides his very obvious perversions and crimes against the US, because they hate Trump. Isn't that cult behavior.

Of course the polls must look tight and the propaganda about his support has to flow. When they cheat, it has to be believable, thats where the emotimedia come in. mslsd and cnn to be specific. wapo and view and nytimes. Nope, not a cult.

Get real.

An shortened summary of Trump's presidency (from 2021). Certainly not completely objective (evaluating here and there) but I think an accurate conclusion. Perhaps this will help some Members in future discussions.(;

The Trump Presidency: A Review

America is more divided today than at any other time in its history.

I stopped there.

The divide started with Obama and continued in 2016 when the left made soil in their pants over the election of Trump.

What is this?

The future looked pretty griffin great. That is the complete opposite of what is our current reality. I think you need to get out more. Get out of your basement Joe. a reply to: 1947boomer

Trump purported to be focused on the economy, but in truth, most of what he did was costly to the economy in some way or another.

Perhaps to hide this, he allowed national debt (that incurred by the government) to continue to skyrocket almost without limit. The National debt increased during Trump's Presidency by 33.1%. He was 'running things on the credit card', on a national scale. That was how things seemed to be so good (By contrast, the increase in national debt under Biden was 8.8%). Of course, Trump's fumbling of the pandemic response worsened things in regard to debt.

Also, the truth about petrol prices is that they were below $2 before Trump came to office, hitting a low of $1.764 in February of 2016 and by May of 2018 under Trump, they had risen to $2.901 There was another drop for a month, below $2 in April 2020, but that was probably a result of the lockdowns, where fuel was being stockpiled and stored but people weren't buying, and by the time Trump had left office, the strong upward trend leading to the current high prices was already happening.

It’s simple fact. Anyone who calls the trump presidency a failure has immaturity problems. It was our best state ever and this…well this is the worst! Signed a lifelong democrat.

Let’s see who the cult is.

We have a president who is paid off by countless countries and has disarmed us completely while sending ungodly amounts of money to a war which does not concern us and a country who has set up accounted for his crooked son. Speaking of, his drug addicted son while his daughter writes in her diary, which was recently verified, about how her father would shower regularly with her through her teenage years.

25 million plus immigrants, a twelfth of the nation, has come in and is being given a free ride while our vets rot in the streets.

We have parents suing veterinarians because their children identify as animals and the vets refuse to treat them.

We have told a nation of young black people that they are owed something so they listen and loot daily entire stores because they feel owed for what their great great great great great great grandparents MIGHT have gone through if they were owned by the 12% of the south alone who owned slaves, neglecting the fact that taking jnto account the other 4700 years of history, black people were more likely by far to enslave others and today in 2023, there are more enslaved white Europeans in Africa who are slaves than there were entire slaves in the 300 year American trade.

They call themselves socialists and communists with pride.

They spent over 40 trillion dollars in the last three years on top of the 21 trillion that disappeared 4 years ago with no receipts or accounting for.

They’re spending even more money to send to Ukraine, a filthy corrupt nation behind all of Bidens shenanigans even though they have sent enough to pay 20,000 dollars per bullet.

Attention desperate creeps like Dylan mulvaney are celebrities and invited to the White House while others shake their man breasts on the White House lawn.

They bail out and overlook all crimes during democrat mobs which tore apart their own neighborhoods…

They pretend an insurrection occurred and ruin lives to win their political points as good people sit in jail all to try and smear trump while Hillary and Biden are the two biggest murdering criminals in history…

It’s an absolute circus out there but trump supporters are the cult members because we want law and order back with a side of common sense.

I stopped reading after the “Economy” section.

Obama inherited a massive budget deficit because of government spending to unfreeze the US economy after 2008’s collapse. We may, or may not, have needed to spend all that money. But, fast forward 8 years and we recovered nicely, tax revenues were up, and budget deficits were down.

Trump left office with the government blowing enormous amounts of money tied to the pandemic - loans, stimulus, basically free money everywhere during the last 1.5 ish years of his term. So, yes, budget deficits were higher and cannot in the least be solely attributed to the tax cuts - not even close. He also inherited a slow growth economy from Obama - an economy that was a serious wet sandwich for 8 years - broadly (10x better than Biden, however).

I am not a Trump fan, and believe the GOP voters who think he actually has a shot at winning in 2024 are mind-bendingly delusional.

But, if you’re going to pain a picture of Trump’s term, it’s clear you have no idea how to analyze anything and, subsequently, define success.

Say what you want. I know that under Trump, i got more take home pay after the tax cuts. Gas was half the price it is now. Groceries was half of what i pay now. The interest rates on everything were much lower than they are now. My stock acct made bigger gains than ever before. And best of all i got to watch Democrats on the news crying and whining and spontaneously combusting for four years.
