Yeah. That'd be me. The OP. Agian, that was my point, that this was likely satire, but that what she said does in fact today hold social currency. Whether she is being serious or not, there are people who think this way; that if one wants to believe one's self to be of a different species, gender, race, or planetary origin the we are expected by a large portion of society to accept their fantasy or mental dellusion (as it were) and participate in it with them as though it were fact.

The point - in case you didn't bother to actually read and digest the OP - is that whereas 10 or even 5 years ago this would have been blatant satire, now one has to doubt.

No offense meant, but people keep saying that, and they are just repeating what I already said. THe point is not whether or not she is trolling, but the fact that whereas 5 or 10 years ago nobody would have taken her seriously, there is now an entire segment of society that actually thinks that way. If she is trolling (i.e., satire), the she's doing it in response to actual social dialog.

Given, however, the current climate, it is altogether possible that she is being serious. If there are mothers that think it agood thing to chemically and/or surgically emasculate a young boy, then taking one to a veterenarian is not a far stretch.
