I've always been a fan too. The VFX has gotten so much better since too.

Love me some Godzilla movies.

The animated movies on Netflix are unbelievably good.

I have to agree! Godzilla has gone through a lot of redesign and reimagining. "Shin Godzilla" was probably the creepiest version I've ever seen, lol.

The oversized iguana look isn't my cup of tea and has never been. But being a true fan means being flexible to these reimaginings.

This looks like an origin story/remake of the original from the 1950's. Can't wait to see it!!

Have always watched and enjoyed Godzilla movies, they have come a long way since seeing Godzilla vs the Smog Monster in the 70s.

These last few have been entertaining enough and this trailer at least makes me want to see it

Still not enough to get me into a theater; however, I will be purchasing it once the blu ray is out. It looks like they're somewhat sticking with the US version, which is an interesting choice.

I hope this doesn't turn into another Sky Captain. that looked great but was a mess.

it has been my ambition for years to do a remake / origin story emphasis on Japan. I guess he beat me to it.

A new trailer has dropped today , Godzilla Minus One will premiere at the Tokyo International Film Festival on November 1, 2023.
The film is written and directed by Takashi Yamazaki who also created the visual effects , no Hollywood "message" BS just pure film making from a proper film maker ... it will do well.
