It turns out that a Pakistani ambassador was kidnapped by Iraqi insurgents when he was leaving a mosque. According to CNN, this kidnapping is the result of prolonged American involvement in Iraq. Apparently, Pakistan was a very strong ally for the U.S. during the Iraqi war, which is why his kidnapping holds relevance to the U.S. departure from Iraq. This is very sad, you never like to hear about a terrorist group kidnapping someone. There isn't much to say, except, that I hope and pray that he makes it back to his family safely. When are we going to learn that killing is wrong?
