So this morning I read that Alan Arkin has passed away at 89. I have always loved his work. Some of his movies that I love.....

Grose Point Blank
America's Sweethearts
Little Miss Sunshine
So I Married an Axe Murder
Slums of Beverly Hills

Most are not large parts but very memorable for his humor and timing.

Sad to hear of his passing BUT I swear he passed years ago. Am I the only one who remembers this?

Bumped for a consummate Thespian and good guy
(most times) ex. Wait Until Dark /w Richard Crenna, Audrey H, and
Jack Weston as the padding for an Anchor fence popped repeatedley
with a '62 Buick Special. Vodn Vodn Vodn goes the 215. Urp.
And of course Capt. Yossarian in Catch 22. Timeless surrealism...
So long Freebie, you were one of the best.
