My condolences to all families who have lost someone in this accident.

There was a bus crash which has killed 10 passengers and seriously injured others in a bus crash in NSW.

The strange thing is ten people have been unaccounted for who supposedly were on the bus.

Granted if you didn’t get on the bus, I am sure you would have heard about the crash and contacted people to let them know you are safe.

www.theage.com.au...

Though there was an Australian securities investment commission staff member who is also missing, she was supposedly on the bus though has gone missing!

www.theage.com.au... rged-20230612-p5dfyd.html

This all seems really odd.

As most people have a wallet or purse with identification, and it has been three days that people would have been accounted for.

Though reading the profiles in the article, they are involved in professional fields.

Was this an accident or “accident”

Just means unidentified, poor souls likely went under the bus. DNA will confirm I'd imagine.

It does sound odd that some people disappeared. I wonder if they got hauled to the hospital and they disappeared in paperwork. Maybe they will show up in a few days...either as dead or in a coma. You would think that if they know some people are missing, they would have the cops check up on what happened to those people. Maybe the cops do not think it is their job to do that kind of work or something after an accident.

I realise this though look how quickly the perpetrators of 9/11 were identified.

Just saying.

Agreed, you would think the bus company would have a manifest of who is on board or not.

Though I would hope there are records of which patient was transferred to which hospital.

You would think it’s a combination of police and the ambo’s to determine identification.

I just thought the wording was odd “unaccounted”

Also the relatives would have notified the authorities, one would think.

Pretty sure they know who's no longer with us, but, I think they may be injured beyond recognition/identification. If a ten ton coach lands on you and slides up the road a ways, your own mother wont be able to ID you. a reply to: robsmith

IF that was true,
they would say 10 dead passengers yet to be Identifide!
10 missing? some one or thing, aliens? goverment? has taken them.
That many dont just walk off. the cops look around for people.
cops always look for people who walk off from a crash.

It is another "accident" that, until proven otherwise, I posit the conspiracy theory that these "unaccounted" people have been escorted by their employer to their promotion. If that makes speculative sense.

Agreed, why would they say unnacounted for. If there are ten bodies! At least say that “we are working on identifying the bodies recovered”

Unless this is some new age woke crap wording they have used like pronouns.

I was alluding to what you have said, that the wording, the fact that it happened in a relatively isolated area, that to me after reading the profiles of the passengers, perhaps someone in their career came accriss something that needed to be covered up.

The miner, the nurse, the chiropractor, etc

Walked off? Aliens? Guys, the first responders at this incident will need counciling for months, the underside of that bus was a horror show of minced human paste and shattered bones. You don't state that in a news article so the families don't have to hear it. I'm amazed this needs to be explained...... The Identities will come out pretty quickly as they sort through the mess. a reply to: buddha

i tend to agree. they don't use traps, sheets, plastic to cover damage on vehicles.

then there's this from the Op's first link.

NSW Police Acting Assistant Commissioner David Waddell said police could not confirm the identities of the 10 victims, but passengers had ranged in age from their 20s to 60s.

so their saying there are 10 bodies they haven't ID'd

Yup this exactly, unaccounted for in this context just means not "formally identified". a reply to: BernnieJGato
