You swore an oath to secrecy.

But do you remember your First Oath?

You swore to Him.

You swore to uphold and maintain His Word, until His Return.

You swore to allow all things unto your brethren, good or bad, until His Return.

You swore that no matter what, through life and death, through sufferance and despair, you would uphold your duty.

Remember your Oath.

Which is greater?

The oath of silence to your brother, or the oath of Truth to the One?

Remember.

Shed your darkness like a dead skin having served its purpose.

Come back into the Light.

Share the Truth.

The silence is broken, for Chaos reigns in this Day.

May the Light shine bright over All, on the Day of the Lord!

In communications whenever you adress people like you did in the OP
'You are...
You have
etc'
The natural reaction of every halfway plus normal person is defiance. It creates nothing but hostility.
If you top it off with condescending self-righteousness you'll going to see a lot of fingers pointed at you and people laughing, not with you.

It's always better voicing your concerns in form of self-expression like 'I feel... I think it would be better if ... for this and that reason'

Unless you're just trying to piss people off in that case you couldn't have done a better job.

If my word offends, then perhaps it was meant for another.

But you speak true.

I'll take your word under consideration.

I'm thinking the OP is referring to the oath that Freemasons (or similar groups) take. Implying because of his or her own beliefs that they all have somehow taken an oath to the Christian deity beforehand which is superior.

Or some such...

I listen to my heart and speak the words I hear.

They are not my own.

I speak to the few who long ago embarked on a journey.

They took a heavy burden upon themselves.

They are among the strongest of warriors.

They are among the wisest of the priests.

Theirs is a path for only the bravest.

I fear they have forgotten.

I feel sorrow.

Come back.

Then the OP is void, you are speaking on what you do not know.

I, as a Freemason, never swore an oath.

What I did do, was make a commitment to try and be the best man that I can be. For me and those around me.

There, of course, is more to it, but that is the gist I will share.

Well, there is always more to it theatreboy, that's just how the world spins.

3 wee rules is all you generally require to make it through life all the same.

As to commitments, well those tend to accumulate, as the years go by, or at least that's my two cents on the matter.

Sun's out through, so I'm away out the back to sit with a beer or three.

Chin-chin!

I assumed that was the point as well. It tickles me to see folks absolutely sure they know all about Freemasonry, when in reality, they haven't the slightest clue.

I know nothing of freemasonry.

Not that interested.

I'm not a big fan of secrecy.

I had to share something. So I did.

This seemed like the right place.

I swore a oath to the United States Constitution, not a religion, not a god, and no secret societies.
Now in saying that, I will lower my sword to only one power on earth, and pray for his return. For my sword will be used for his cause, which is the same as The U.S. Constitution stands for, FREEDOM.

My family: Masons and all females Order of the Eastern Star...been pursued by Satan, me too...a few times in 70 yrs....and my response? I flick my hand backwards over my shoulder and say "Begone Satan. I am a child-of-God, and walk in the Light". Perhaps an affirmation, not oath.

Poof! Gone.....

God bless

What has caused more suffering on this planet.

Freemasonry?
Or
Organized religion?

I've been invited into Freemasonry twice now and they are no different than shriners. Just minus the little cars and funny hats...

That is all well and fine but your' OP is rather vague and you should have elaborated. You say you speak to the few who 'long ago' embarked on a journey. How long ago are you reaching back?
Don't try and be vague and enigmatic just spit it out and people will engage more positively.
