Sextortionists are making AI nudes from your social media images.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is warning of a rising trend of malicious actors creating deepfake content to perform sextortion attacks. Sextortion is a form of online blackmail where malicious actors threaten their targets with publicly leaking explicit images and videos they stole (through hacking) or acquired (through coercion), typically demanding money payments for withholding the material.

I saw this article from Bleeping Computer website that I am member of and been helping people solve their computer problems for years. This is an example of how AI is being weaponized.

It was only a matter of time...

For the next ten years, all photo evidence is useless in court- photos of the presidents son will be written off as AI.
But marriages will be destroyed, executives will be imprisoned, and high school drama will reach levels never before seen.

If they could trim off about 20 pounds and take off 30 years, I might not mind. Seems like I could use some copyright protection though. If they did a good enough job and it gets millions of clicks, I should be picking up some royalties.

While I lightheartedly agree with MSB, This is truly scary.

Because is it not true, that if they can do this with nude pictures, can they not do this with other things, like criminal acts?

A picture is no longer worth a 1000 words.
We are in big trouble

Money in the Bank! Lol! Oh, man. Let's all prep the properly legalese phrased documents now to benefit from this no matter what.

Damn the man.

It is a horrible thing to admit, but this was the first thing that came to my mind.

I was thinking, surely there is a way to monetize the videos. If they would be stupid enough to try making a video of me, it would have to go for top dollar with the oddly and deviant crowd.

On the bright side, just one more hole in the dyke. Most people already know that you can't trust a thing that you hear or see on the internet. Maybe this will be the straw that brings it all falling down.

Me first, but I'll have to put a picture up on social media.

While I may be unbothered by the idea, I can see how many people would feel real horror if this happened to them. I see no way to prevent this from happening.

Maybe proactively put your nudes all over the internet yourself. If you get the blackmail email you can just say: too late it's already everywhere

This only works in a prude society.
We are so ashamed of the naked body in America it's a joke.

On the flip side, sextortion worked pretty darn well for the Kardashians!

In my case, they aren't fake.

Perfect timing for all the revelations of Hollywood pedos and Epstein. Looks like they had an "out" with this the entire time.

Do we really think the government and PMC (private military complex) hasn't had A.I for at least 25+ years and used it to its full capacity and explored all of its capabilities?

This was the plan from the start....

Well, if you would’ve just gotten the Bluetooth tracking injection then we would’ve been able to identify where you really were that night. But, I guess we’ll need to just rely on this video of you robbing Victoria’s Secret...

I would order a hundred copies and send them out for Christmas Cards.

While the idea of becoming an overnight porn star is appealing to some, what if it is mixed in with pedophilia, bestiality or snuff?

Even if it is all fake, will it raise some doubt should some of your family, friends or work colleges get a copy? In this digital age the perpetrators could be anywhere in this world. Even if you do find them, having the resources to take them on in their jurisdiction could be long, tough and expensive to resolve.

The FBI has no business warning anyone about anything. The FBI itself is a huge threat to America with them spying on citizens and committing atrocities in the name of the war on terror. The war on terror as the same thing as the war on drugs, all of which is war against American citizens. The FBI and CIA has to be dismantled and rebuilt with extreme oversight. America has to rid itself of these enemies.

Sadly, this problem has been around well before AI became the latest CT boogeyman. Each of these 3 losers started on the Dark Web and all 3 of them made bank while others paid the price.

Dive into the scum of the world like Peter Scully who imo is the purest definition of evil.

Matthew David Grahm who gave hurtcore as a gift to the world.

Or this waate of resource Matthew Falder ...
