Tina Turner dead at 83 , This actually brought a tear to my eye as a 50 some year old man , She was rock and roll not to mention Hot as hell in mad Max and on stage . We are losing all our legends which is very sad ...... No others carry a torch to any of the Icons passing .

Raggedy Man .

So sad to hear this! She is an amazing soul.

I was fortunate to see her in 72 with Ike. I will never forget her energy and talent. Ike was a bad man. But it was what she had to endure to be who she was, which was nothing less than remarkable.

I wish her infinate peace.

Big Wheels Keep on Turnin', our Proud Tina.

I always admired her, as she seemed like such a strong woman, with everything she went through.

She will be greatly missed.

Sadly, I wonder if Willy will be next?

They start-out like us.
At some point : they sign on the dotted-line ; and then they ain't like us no more, living in mansions in Switzerland.

Ah *censored*!

We still listen to Ike & Tina doing “Proud Mary” once a week at the neighborhood bar.

A great performer, a natural on screen, and didn’t spend all her time complaining about her past, add that voice and you have a Classic.

Too many, too soon!

RIP, Ms. Turner! Music will always have your touch upon it!

She rocks too…

Beyond just losing Tina, which is sad, what saddens me is the lack of talent coming in to replace her and the others we are losing.

While there is good new music out there, there also seems to be a lot of phoning it in now. Don't take risk, follow the proven formula.

I can’t say much more than what has already been said.

Though Tina is an absolute legend, I admired her strength and she didn’t let anyone hold her back.

I can't stop crying since I heard the news...

I grew up with her music,
but in 1990, I was 14, my aunt took me to a concert, one of the few she did in Belgium and I was completely hooked on Tina's music since then!
She was like a musical tornado on that stage! SIMPLY THE BEST!

Rock on Tina! wherever you are 🤘

Well, you will have to wait for another world war for that, with its war babies and baby boomers. The Beatles for example came of age in Hamburg, Germany 15 years after the end of the war.
