It looks like the fact checkers needed a makeover so it appears the BBC has stepped up to make sure what we are seeing is the truth. The truth suddenly needs to be spun, is this an act of desperation from the state to try and mitigate and delay the consequences of government decisions made during these troubling times? The Corporate takeover seems to be sparking some pushback in various areas which will obviously need clarifying to make sure the disinformation from foreign interference does not affect the thinking of the masses.www.bitchute.com...

I find it interesting that her "misinformation" flow chart only investigates "far-right" connections. Are there no possible "far-left" connections? Obviously, I know the answer to this. I just wanted to point it out the real focus of the investigations. Intentionally blinding themselves to one side makes them nothing more than a political weapon against the right.

The reporter might have said, "political connections" to appear unbiased, but I guess they don't care to hide it.

I think that they are trying to change the definitions of what was left and right. Facicm was considered to be right on the political spectrum, and Socialism in all its guises was left. But the meme being pushed is the opposite. It is interesting that as far as the top players go in these spectrums their lifestyle is still quite lavish compared to the rest of the working class. During the days of the soviet union. if you had any reasonable rank in the party, you shopped at the GUM store where you could get a packet of Camels if that was your choice. We seem to be heading toward corporate fascism, But we might have always been there under the disguise of democracy anyway. If you want the goodies you have to play ball. The inner circle around the core of government is looking after itself and provides an inertia that does not want to change even if the top leadership wants a change. Either way, you still have a load of brown nosers telling the top guy that all is going well, It is if you are creaming it, the top guy hasn't really a clue of what is really occurring so has to rely on the reports however massaged. The French kings and the Romanian dictator or the last Tzar wouldn't have a clue that they were coming to the end of their use-by date. The figureheads might be as clueless as the rest of us.

I live in the Caribbean. when I DO watch "news", I usually watch BBC, because they appear so pragmatic. "Yesterday, something blew up, and here is the video and on-site reporting." As Stephen Colbert might say, I consider them to be more "truthy" than other "news".

Oh hell, I believe that all or nearly all of the news outlets have been purchased and mostly push an agenda. Still, the BBC will tell you the worst of what happened hours ago around the world, and that ain't bad. It's what I want in my 10 minute "news bite". I watch, drink coffee and nod my head that the apocalypse doesn't appear to be happening today.

The BBC actively have anti disinformation reporters and journalists whose job it is to debunk and ridicule anything outside of the prescribed narrative. Quite scary really. They regularly report on the dangers of conspiracy theorist who are, apparently, mostly far right, racist lunatics.

The government itself works for the rich. In countries like the U.S., most of media is owned by six large corporations owned by the rich.
