"Peace"

Just a little number I did a little while back. This is the message I bring to the table.

I really like the colors of this! Is it a digital art piece or painted?

It was removed because of content within the OP I believe

No offense to the OP or your work, BUT....two things that came from being a teen when the hippie era hit:
1-A strong dislike of the peace symbol and
2-A loathing of anything paisley.
( I didn't go nuts over the Beatles, either....:roll

Very interesting you brought that up. Yes! that symbol was actually meant for an evil intent. I did not create it for that purpose, but yes, when that symbol first came out it had a VERY nefarious purpose. This is a symbol that, even though the original creators intent was evil, we use it still today for a symbol of peace and unity for ALL.

For the obzerver.
I both love and hate this "symbol"
We take what was meant for evil,,,,,,,,and make it good.....then we throw up a middle finger to that "evil" while we dance and celebrate our lives.

Interesting you brought THAT up! lol It reminds me of how the swastika was an ancient religious and cultural symbol of divinity until being hijacked by the Nazis.

There is far more to symbolism than meets the eye.

P.S. Sent you an email.
