So I Found a Thing ...

I've been surveying music trying to find something I can jive to for a creative routine (that has been not so successful), but every so often, you just run across a thing that you didn't know existed and you wonder where it's been all your life.

There was this song that did extremely well in Asia called Tunak Tunak Tun.



It's a Punjabi song, and I remember it being a thing a long, long time ago. It got buffalaxed.



This was before buffalax was forced to quit.

Well tonight I ran across this insane cover done by an Indian metal band Bloodywood with a guy from Brazil.



The video is great; there are so many memes packed into it. I think it won my internet for the night.

But I had no idea anyone would cover it, and this group did, and the video is just great. That and the idea that you have an Indian metal group working with a Brazilian dude. How on earth did that happen? It's just wild.

Cong is cool! I looked up translation. Kind of interesting. I always wonder about music videos.... so odd.

But now I must rid myself of this ear worm these videos evoked.

After all these years on ATS the best forum might be the Music forum Ive found more music here than anywhere else.
What an insane cover... I can't listen to it loud enough LOL

so many good tunes have been recommended over the years there was a thread about Fanny on Beat Club/youtube with about 7-8 songs and every one of them was good. There was another thread about the Hu's cover of Sad but True by Metallica but damn I listened to their other stuff and it was off the charts too.

I'll see your Tunak Tuank and raise you one Ooga Chakka Ooga Ooga...

OK, full disclosure. I really like Muse, and I like Knights here in a sort of spaghetti Western sort of way, but the video for it is absolutely bonkers! Just hang in there until the unicorns put in an appearance.

Muse is fantastic, but the video is so surreal and crazy. I love their music though.
