SHE'S BACK! , and has been for a couple weeks now.

Just happen to catch this flight out of Andrews Air Force Base.

It's up now over Tampa Florida.

Maiden Flight? Maybe...
It's been out since the funeral of George Bush. It's been in Texas (Lackland Air Force Base) I believe, till a couple weeks ago.

It was supposed to be replaced, but in this case it may have been refurbished upgraded.

I can't get articles other than Flicker and planespotter to come up in search. I know there was work done and I can't find a link.i

Post Depot test flight. It just got returned to the 89th at Andrews after an extended stay in San Antonio for heavy maintenance and upgrades.

It’s been in an extended maintenance period for close to two years IIRC. It just got returned to service and is back at Andrews. This is a crew from the unit that flies them taking it out for a check flight to make sure everything works the way it should, and to check if they need to fix anything before the President flies on it again.

The VC-25Bs aren’t going to enter service until 2025-26. The current VC-25s still need to be maintained.
