I know that for too long, some peace activists (e.g. Codepink, Veterans for Peace) have fallen for the far-left's narrative of Fidel Castro and Che Guevara as peaceful men unaware that Fidel and Che's conception of peace was not essentially about peaceful co-existence between communists and non-communists in the developing world, but instead about murdering non-communists to serve Fidel and Che's bankrupt vision for the developing world. Moreover, far-left peace activists have criticized the US wars in Afghanistan and Iraq as well as US intervention in Europe during World War II as comparable to the aggressions of Nazi Germany in World War II without saying that these interventions were conducted not to kill people but instead liberate oppressed peoples from tyranny. In your spare time, have you warned several peace activists not to join far-left peace organizations that paint the falsehoods about Fidel Castro and Che Guevara as peaceful individuals and call the conduct of the Iraq War by the US and UK comparable to Nazi war crimes and the Holocaust?

I'm not surprised. Communism has always been an effective Kool-aid upon weak minds. The atrocities committed under it's poison are some of the most evil and anti-life crimes we've seen inflicted upon humanity.

war is good for capitalism, maybe one day you'll get to enjoy the delight...

You should do it like Switzerland, sell the guns to everyone, not getting involved and enjoy the show... Or maybe you really like to be the protagonist to our entertainment... just don't make peace because that would really hurt us...

seems to me that so called "peace activists", have been supported and ideologically driven by communism, since at least the 1950's or 1960's. of course just being another communist war-front. especially when you remember that since ww2, that peace movement has mainly been to interfere with western/NATO countries, especially when actively fighting against the evil communist expansion. (and remember it worked wonders to stop the US from actually effectively fighting and winning that war. a war that was not really lost on the battlefield at all, but lost it due to communist, political interference via the communist backed peace activists).

One of the only times war has been good for capitalism was when the US entry into World War II effectively ended the Great Depression by having unemployed Americans get jobs in the defense industry. World War II was beneficial to the Soviet economy because tight state control over Soviet economic affairs allowed for Soviet warplanes and tanks to be produced in humongous quantity, making the T-34 the most mass-produced Soviet tank of World War II.

Operation Desert Storm had only a marginal impact on capitalism, because many of the American planes used in that war were built in the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s, and the F-117 was only built in small numbers.

I'm sure general motors, would higly disagree with your notion of who was profiting from II world war...
And for dessert storm, just ask Halliburton how bad it was...

Capitalism, is the religion business operate under, you can bend and twist it however you want, every business that operates globally is comited to Capitalism, no matter the country and their politics.
The economy around war is higly profitable, so long it isn't on your doorstep, right?

To be fair this is an issue on the right also and when I've noticed that some of the anti-war right sound pretty similar to the anti-war left and will simp for authoritarians who are anti-west/US allies.

The supposed "socialists" mentioned in the article for which you provide a link aren't radical leftists, they're far-right neo-Nazis. Remember that the Nazi Party was anti-communist and frowned upon social welfare programs to help the elderly and disabled on the grounds that such initiatives were tantamount to communist-type big government.
