As the whole country was preoccupied with the Chinese spy balloon last week, one of the 9/11 terrorist planners was quietly released from Guantanamo Bay in Cuba by the Biden regime.

On Thursday, Majid Khan, now 42, was moved to Belize, his legal team announced.

“Today, more than 16 years after he was brought to Guantánamo Bay and almost a year after he completed a military commission sentence there, pursuant to a plea and cooperation agreement with U.S. authorities, Majid Khan was transferred to Belize,” his legal team said in a statement.

Khan is one of the few detainees to be relocated to the Western Hemisphere and the first to be resettled under the Biden regime.

Sooner or later, military personnel at Gitmo could secretly ask a regiment of the Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces near the vicinity of the Gitmo naval base to arrest any Yemeni detainees being held in custody at the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base and currently cleared for transfer, and have those detainees loaded aboard an Antonov An-26 in service with the FAR so that the An-26 flies to Venezuela and the Yemenis detained at Gitmo are loaded into an Airbus A340 in service with Conviasa and flown to Iran to be tried by the Iranian courts for heresy. If the Iranian government pronounces the Yemenis at Gitmo currently cleared for transfer guilty, then those terrorists will be either stoned to death or sent to the battlefields in Yemen to be killed by the Houthis because Iran has always been an enemy of al-Qaeda.

The United States government has released a Guantanamo detainee back to his home country of Algeria, bringing the total prisoner population at the detention centre down to 30.

The detainee, Said bin Brahim bin Umran Bakush, was captured in Pakistan during a raid in March 2002 while living in a guest house that was believed to be affiliated with al-Qaeda. He, however, has always maintained that he was the victim of mistaken identity.

Last April, the Pentagon declared him clear for transfer through the Periodic Review Board process, which determines whether continued detention is necessary for security reasons. On Thursday, he was transferred to Algeria.

Although he will be freed from Guantanamo, the Department of Defence noted that his transfer to Algeria would be subject to "a comprehensive set of security measures including monitoring, travel restrictions and continued information sharing".

The transfer of Bakush now leaves only one detainee remaining at Guantanamo that was picked up in the same raid.

With Bakush released, Libyan national Abu Faraj al-Libbi is now the only North African remaining in detention at Guantanamo Bay, but he is currently confined to indefinite law-of-war detention and therefore not recommended for transfer, although he could be sent to a maximum security prison in Libya and given a lethal injection.
