I LOVE bad science fiction movies. I binge watch on Netflix / Prime. There are a lot of current straight to video films with D list actors, bad CGI, etc.

Now its about the mixtapes, such as Xtrophobia (fear of rubber monsters):

Also fun, the best is old trailers tapes. Those movies the trailers were always the better, as if they made them just to make the trailers.

Then we could deep dive into grindhouse cinema, Mondo movies, fake grindhouse trailers, video nasties, modern trailer remixes, and so on!

I heard she did a music video called "Dont Cancel Halloween" when Covid hit.

A quick YT search and here it is - and yes, it's really bad!

LMAO....that fits perfectly with this thread. The lyrics are magnificently horrible!

I dare anyone to try and sit through this! Believe it or not it was once shown on Turner Classics.

"Jack Frost"
Strange Russian fairy tale dealing with a boy and a girl who go through the strangest situations to be with one another. The boy is transformed by a Mushroom Pixie into a bear, and almost baked by an evil witch who controls trees. The girl is given the Cinderella treatment by her mother and her sister

Your post reminded me of one of the weirdest movies I have ever seen - XTRO!

XTRO (1982)
An alien creature impregnates a woman who gives birth to a man who was abducted by aliens three years ago. The man reconnects with his wife and son for a sinister purpose.

Poor woman gives birth to a full grown man - ouch!

The alien looks like some kind of humanoid/grasshopper/alien hybrid LOL

MST3K's treatments are legendary
Red Zone Cuba
Beast of Yucca Flats
The Dead Talk Back
Blood Waters of Doctor Z
Samson vs the Vampire Women

I don't think they did The Giant Claw.

more recently; Savage Beach, and its follow up Hard Ticket to Hawaii
Bimini Code

Godzilla ripoff Gappa (The Triphibian Monster) was awful

I have a memory of a direct-to-video monster movie in the 1980s. an alien disguised as a teenage girl appears to a guy that looks like Kyle McLachlan and tells him only he can save the city from a giant monster that shows up all of a sudden.

The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra is EPIC!!!!

Blood Waters of Doctor Z

Originally released as "Zaad". It opened in a couple theaters in Florida, and actually had a premiere in New York. The movie was so awful, it was pulled from the New York theater before the day was over, grossing just $200.00!

The film's owners would change the name a couple of times, then re-release it! Elvira spoofed it on her show, and said "I heard Ed Wood walked out of the theater!"

This one is an absolute must-watch. "Supersonic Saucer" from the mid 1950s. British schoolchildren fight criminals with the help of a cute little alien they named "Meeba".

A couple more memorable ones from my childhood -

It's Alive!
A horribly mutated newborn baby goes on a murderous rampage in Los Angeles. Somewhat prophetically, the mutation was caused by Big Pharma prenatal meds and naturally they want to brush it under the rug.

TROG
Spelunkers are attacked by an awakened troglodyte who is captured by a team led by Joan Crawford. Of course he escapes and mayhem ensues.

No problem!
A big chunk of my childhood and adolescence was spent at Saturday matinees. My friends and I would get dumped at the theater by our moms with 2 bucks for the show and some popcorn. As a result I saw A LOT of really bad films from the late 60's to the mid 70's. I'll drop 'em here when memory serves.

Here's two unforgettable ones -

FROGS
Yep, they're frogs and they're deadly LOL!

EQUINOX
Bizarre and very psychedelic with some cool Harryhausen-style stop motion animation.

You can watch the full movie on YT if you're up to it.
Enjoy!

A whole nother sub-genre of bad films would have to be the kung fu flicks of the 70's. I saw them all!

Here's a favorite, Sonny Chiba was an underrated badass -

Watch for the bad guy spitting out his teeth at 0:24 and the X-ray vision skull-punch at 1:44
Classic!
