Alright everybody, this is a good natured thread to get opinions from the masses. This time of year always brings around the timeless question: What is everybody's favorite Christmas/Holiday movie?

So let's get this going. What is your favorite, or in your opinion the best Christmas movie, and why is it Die hard?

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays

I like all the old animated ones.

Santa Claus is Comin To Town

Rudolf The Red Nosed Reindeer

The Island of Misfit Toys

The Year Without A Santa Claus [ the 1974 version ]

Frosty The Snowman.

And last, but never least : A Christmas Story.

...cuz everybody wants an official Red Ryder carbine- action 200-shot range model air rifle.

Its definitely Die Hard or National Christmas Vacation.

Otherwise, the traditional A Christmas Story though it has been somewhat sullied by a well-meaning semi-entertaining sequel

Can't remember the name of it and apparently it's vanished from the internet, there's a movie about a guy who meets a random dude outside a 711 with a magic lottery ticket and wishes to trade his very successful but lonely career for a family and gets his wish, for a whole year. I think the actor was John Cusack? Not exactly pulse pounding or complex story telling but still one of the best I can recall off hand. Very perspective enhancing.

That was a cool short film. A masterpiece of art and symphony. I always loved hand drawn art.
I enjoyed that very much, thanks for sharing that with us.

The vid had me laughing. I remember that! Lola reply to: alldaylong
