It looks like Boris did not want peace in Ukraine, a tentative deal was worked out that allowed Russia to stay in control of Crimea and the separatist Donbas. Then came Boris , so it is obvious that they want a prolonged war, to blame the economic collapse on. If people wake up during the winter, that all this could be avoided it will be traumatic to say the least.. At the moment the UK is buying Chinese gas, which they bought from Russia. How is that for a nice way to make a few extra bob for the good ole boys. www.bitchute.com...

Which states would we be willing to sacrifice to an invader in the name of peace?
Especially when you consider that the invader isn’t doing so good and probably won’t be able to hold the land they have seized.

It depends on whether the Ukrainian parliament thought that the breakaway regions were lost to them, either way, it's hyperbole now.

Didn't NATO scupper the peace deal back in November when they shunned the mighty Soviet empire? Oops I mean the noble accords of the Russian Federation. Shame about that.

So much for special operation comrade.

Well yes and that area is the 3rd largest gas production in EU along with the coast of the Black sea. There is a reason Russia wants all that and it isn't the poor "Russians" in Donbas...

Yes, if we just let him annex Poland we can avoid a war.

Wait...

What was the question?

The Chinese are the world's biggest importer of LPG. Since 2021 China has been steadily increasing their imports and in fact declared in 2021 they were buying it up at "any cost".

This was planned clearly.

If Mad Vlad is allowed to just keep annexing chunks of Ukraine, what will be next, maybe Poland, Romania or Bulgaria? When do we say no more?
Didn't something like this happen around 1939?? Some German guy who had a thing for little moustaches????

Mad Vlad as you call him, Aint so mad at all. He knows what societies run on, which is food and oil. Not repeat not printing money. Sanctions are a joke. They literally don't care anymore, the Rouble has gone up, and Moscow is awash with cash. As Nord stream one gets cut, because France for one has not paid Russia for the Gas used they are going to face a bleak winter, the reality is that they probably are broke. South East Asia is taking up the slack. Russian energy sales are booming. While the people in Germany are hunting for firewood, and cutting down trees. The enemy isn't Russia, when you have been outplayed it is best to admit it and move on. If the west makes any more pretend sanctions and tries to keep a war going for profit it will not end too well.If Ukraine has been bombing parts of its own country for whatever reason, and Russia protects the bombed areas who cares? If anyone really cared they can go and join the Ukrainian army.

Indeed. Appeasement of dictator's with designs on the territory of neighboring countries doesn't usually work out too well.

So basically give Putin what he wanted , then wait until he comes back for more.
Surrender is not an option.

UK is buying Chinese gas

Is there a reputable source for that claim ?

As I understand it we get half of our gas from the North sea and the rest from Norway , Qatar and the US.

Once upon a time there was an Austrian chap who just wanted to annex The Sudetenland and no more.

You know how the story finished.

Russia does not want the hassle of invading anywhere that will be a long-term nightmare, they are only in places that welcomed them in. They were welcomed in simply because of family and language ties, added to the fact that they will have a better standard of living than they were experiencing. That's the reality. Propaganda may sing a different song but it always will. If Russia tried it on in western Ukraine they probably would be taking on more than they could chew, it has to be cost-effective, no matter the reasons.

Ah. So please post footage of happy Ukrainians throwing flowers at Russian tanks.

Your propaganda sings a different tune, to reality.

They tried to take Ukraine's capital.

It went badly.

They don't want the Ukrainian capital. They don't want a long drawn-out guerilla war, simply because as we know they are unwinnable. When it comes down to urban warfare, it is no longer cost-effective. Whatever great weapons and combat gear you have, it soon falls into the enemy's hands. They just want an all-weather port. As far as Russian expansionism goes, there are vast tracks of Russia that are crying out for settlement.
