Wow!
I vaguely remember that program.

Have you ever seen Our Miss Brooks?
Father Knows Best?

Or a really good one.....The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis
Wish they would put that on MeTV!!!!!

We used to watch that show back in the good old days. Dobie Gilliss was good too, and the early Andy Griffiths were great just for Barney Fife. Barney was a hoot.

Later on, in the mid to late 60s, they came out with 'family drama sitcoms' like "Family Affair". We would watch shows like that just to make fun of them! Buffy, Jody and Sissy. Yech!

I remember Mom and Dad talking about this show...they loved it.

We grew up watching Father Knows Best, Leave it to Beaver, and of course Andy Griffith, early in the mornings we would watch the Little Rascals and the Three Stooges all the time, LOL what else are you gonna watch you only had 4 channels and PBS. I love Lucy and the Honeymooners, The Dick Van Dyck Show, etc.

FWIW Tubi.com is free and they have loads of old movies and tv shows with limited commercials. They have little Margie too

My all-time favorite shows as a kid were Dragnet, which later morphed into Badge 714 and Annie Oakley. Sky King and The Real McCoy's were staples, too.
We didn't get TV until I was ten, but we'd watch Howdy Doody and the original Superman at the babysitters. As a kid I thought George Reeves jumped out a window; it wasn't until much later I learned he died of a gunshot would.

I think I've seen every Shirley Temple movie ever made, too.

That's so funny we had 1 TV, and being the youngest the only way I could watch TV is getting up super early or being the first one home from school, which with 3 siblings it was rare.

Used to watch Superman reruns too, and the real McCoys, definitely Dragnet.

but at night it was whatever Mom or Dad wanted to watch, from Carol Burnett to the Columbo, Rockford Files, Bob Newhart and the Mary Tyler Moore Show, we watched Laugh-In too, and so many others.

Only Smith was worth watching.
I walked out of the movie because they did Doctor Smith all wrong , thus making the show worthless.
