I feel so sorry for him right now. I looked up the disease and he seems to have the second form with the face paralysis. The first can cause dementia so there's some good news. He's doing face exercises, something I'd never heard of.

He seems to have a positive attitude about it but I'd bet in private he's hurting a lot. Something that can take away your life and career and he's still pretty young, got lots of miles left in him. 28, FFS.
