This is interesting speculation and may shed light on Russia's actions.

Joseph P Farrell has read information from the international nuclear watch dog agency, IAEA , speculating that Ukraine was building a dirty bomb, based on possibly missing stocks of enriched plutonium and uranium.

imagine if the Mexican government suddenly decided that it was going to put the drug cartels in charge of a Mexican nuclear program, and the cartels suddenly start displaying Waffen SS divisional insignia, and murdering indiscriminately, and Mexico announced to the world that for its safety and security against its big northern neighbor, it was going to develop nuclear weapons. You can bet your bottom dollar the USSA wouldn't sit idly by and just let it happen...

What say you?

from a country that once held 100's if not more premade hydrogen bombs

you would be crazy to think if SOMEONE in dark places didnt tuck one or 2 away

and if used would show to have been made in a Russian reactor.

OR they are going to make a dirty bomb?

why a dirty bomb

why not just a nuclear weapon, why cant they once again own nuclear weapons?

they gave them up freely so they should be able to rearm if they chose, we would.

It isn't believed they have the centrifuges necessary to create a proper nuke, I think.

there are more ways to enrich Pu or U than centrifuges

It was somewhat common knowledge that Ukraine either had a fully operational nuclear bomb or the technology and parts necessary to make one, this shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone.

The same with their bio weapons.

Ukraine Was Building a Dirty Bomb?

They most likely already had them .
1) When Ukraine was first made to return the nuclear weapons to Russia , 12 of the 13 Russian suitcase nukes never made it back to Russia. (the world believed they made their way into the black market).
2) Most of the nuclear weapons were returned , but some of the Russian facilities remain today .

Stuff you WILL NOT hear on the news , part 1 . (but did at the time)

Ukraine making a dirty bomb??????? What makes you think IF Ukraine made a dirty bomb that it would be Ukraine that would use it? I've lost count of the many on ATS who have predicted a false flag operation on US soil.
Wouldn't it be something if a dirty bomb was let off in, say, New York on New Years Eve. ALL the fingers would point to Russia. Just because they've built a dirty bomb does not mean they are going to use it in Ukraine or Russia. They might have built it for a third party.
Especially as the truth is coming out about who's money is in Ukraine and what that money might pay for.

Bit of a weak story. Any actual links to the IAEA? No. Here's a bit of balance...

Reuters IAEA falling for Russian propaganda

Moscow's forces have occupied the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power station, the largest of its kind in Europe. Shortly before the invasion, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Ukraine was using Soviet know-how to create its own nuclear weapons.

Oleg Korikov, acting head of the inspectorate, said IAEA director general Rafael Grossi had this week told the World Economic Forum at Davos that there were large stocks of plutonium and enriched uranium at the plant that could be used to make nuclear weapons. Korikov said this was totally untrue.

Yet another crank being quoted.

Seems like a new one comes along every day.

It just sounds like more run of the mill 21st century justification for war.

It's reminiscent of WMD in our war in Iraq.

There's been lots of different justifications, and some of them you don't even hear about any more.

Nazis (still used)
US bio labs (lost its traction)
NATO encroachment (EU membership was the only thing with serious dialog, even this was years off)
And a few other minor ones.

At the end of the day, we all knew Russia needed more to make sure Crimea wasn't just a satellite. The east had always been in their sights, and I'm guessing the chickens just came home to roost.

Dirty bombs don't take time to develop like nukes. If they had the material, it could be made quickly. The Ukrainians haven't resorted to any non conventional weapons, and it should be noted Russia hasn't either for the most part even though many make that a topic of discussion.

i think that goes with out saying.

i would bet more than low yield smaller nukes were taken, warheads out of MIRV's in the 100's of KT range or higher.

once a state is nuclear there is NO way they would release them all, they would have to be stupid.

the US loves to criticize others for weapons programs being Nuclear, chemical, biological etc. as we have or had them in the past.

bio weapons are just a bad idea.

but chemical and nu8clear weapons sadly are here to stay.

Can someone please tell me the difference between Russian propaganda and Western propaganda?

Believe nothing you hear and only half of what you see.

News has turned 100% pure propaganda since the early 2000's. I miss the days when it was only 70-80% lol.

The rattlings were/are that the US would orchestrate detonation of a dirty or biological bomb in Ukraine and have it blamed on Russia.

But doesn't your link indicate that the IAEA director has concerns? You asked for a link to the IAEA, which obviously stated this, but you provide a link to the Ukrainian nuclear inspectorate saying they are wrong?

Strange no mentioned this before.

Having read the article I pick up a lot of 'ifs and maybes'.

There was a lot of uranium in the reactors now controlled by Russia. No one knows how much is now hidden under Zelenskys' bed (or not).

Is this article coincidental with the US gifting medium range missiles to Ukraine?

I'd watch for a false flag flying in the east...

Either there are stockpiles or there aren't. You would think that the director general of such a large international organisation would be the first to know, and not need to rely on Russian media?

Wouldn't it be easy to create stockpiles using their reactors?

Did Ukraine announce they were going to develop nuclear weapons before Russia invaded?
