Rand had a chance to vote on money for bridges and roads.

He said NO.

So what exactly do you guys want except of course to bitch.

Anything being voted on has a bunch of bull# wrapped into it. THAT IS WHY HE VOTES NO. Because no bill is just about money to 'bridges and roads'. They add in crap like money for xx cow fart research and putting tampons in men's bathrooms.

there are plenty of people on both sides of the aisle that should explain to their constituents why sending 40 billion to Ukraine supersedes sending 40 billion elsewhere, America included.

Such as?

It's not as though the last administration gave a sh1t about tackling the issue of intra-national poverty, homelessness or hunger. No administration that i can think of actually truly does.

"We cannot save Ukraine by dooming the U.S. economy," Paul said, noting that inflation in the United States is now running at a forty-year high. "Inflation doesn't just come out of nowhere. It comes from deficit spending," he said.

In subsequent tweets, Paul said that while he sympathizes with Ukrainians, the $40 billion bill is "frankly a slap in the face to millions of taxpayers who are struggling to buy gas, groceries, and find baby formula."

what a radical nut job

McConnell and crew went to Ukraine for some reason. What does the makeup of his visiting party tell us?

Mitch McConnell lead a Senate delegation to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kyiv on Saturday.

The meeting was “a powerful signal of the two-party support of Ukraine by the United States’ Congress, as well as the American people,” Zelenskyy said in a Telegram post that was translated by NBC News.

Senators John Barrasso, John Cornyn, and Susan Collins were among the delegation, according to a video posted on social media. It’s unclear if the group is still in Ukraine.

Democrats would have us spend billions and trillions of borrowed money on all of it (and funnel it back into their own pockets instead of towards their stated purpose.) And you’re fine with that.

Every penny given to Nazi Zelensky is a penny that finds it’s way to Russia as war spoils at this point.

Interestingly enough he wanted an IG to oversee the disbursement of the money and Democrats bitched about that change.

Yeah Zelenskyy is Jewish and is not a Nazi. If you want Nazis out of Ukraine then the Russians need to leave.

I really get this sinking feeling that now that Biden is in a position where he is unanswerable to anyone else now that much of these monies going to “save the Ukraine” are making their way back to the same US politicians, himself included, that were being paid off in laundering schemes already. How would a thief and criminal like he is pass up such a golden opportunity to line his pockets? I just don’t think anything about this war is on the up and up at all.

Me neither, and I can't remember so many politicians visiting a war zone, almost like they are going to visit to get their cut.

It's BS it's too much money to send without any oversight. Hell, I think it's too much period, the war could stop today and we could rebuild Ukraine and Russia will leave it alone and in 30 years Ukraine will still be a corrupt Eastern European country.

The only reason we are deeking around is likely because a few high-level politicians from NATO countries have a financial interest in a free Ukraine. Its almost always about money.

If there isnt a 100% accountability of the usage of the money (so we know it actually went where its claimed to) this should never happen.

Spending large amounts of money because its the "new thing" to care about Ukraine and to empty out our supplies to keep them armed, yea best plan ever to bring down the republic just over a year into implementation.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT....

This whole UKRAINE "conflict", "war", whatever you want to call it, is weird. Take a look at this video clip from 2 days ago.

The Ukraine military says Russian President Vladimir Putin has attempted to have President Zelenskyy assassinated several times this year.

Why is Zelenskyy apparently not worried about his own personal safety, nor the personal safety of visiting dignitaries?

As the video demonstrates, two days ago, Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell and his delegation met and walked around in the open, in the middle of a country under constant attack from Russia.

Last week, it was Nancy Pelosi and her delegation meeting Zelenskyy out in the open and getting a tour of the town.

Last month, it was U.K. President Boris Johnson getting the VIP Treatment.

REALISTICALLY, killing Zelenskyy is so easy, blind musician Stevie Wonder could guide a cruise missile the Ukraine President when he's greeting high-level VIP's in the open and giving them tours. Vladimir Putin's missile could take out Several high-value targets in the blink of an eye, if Vladimir Putin wanted to.

APPARENTLY and OBVIOUSLY, Vladimir Putin does NOT want to kill Ukraine President Zelensky.

COULD ZELENSKYY and PUTIN be partnering to get Billions of dollars out of the USA/NATO over and over, along with modern high-tech weapons, and guarantees for rebuilding, winning LOTTO numbers, pallets of free food and baby formula, etc.. ????

Democrats donate 80 billion of advanced U.S military Harware to afghanistan (and china)

Then we donate 40 billion to Ukraine

Then they complain about Elon musk buying twitter for 40 billion instead of solving world hunger while ignoring the first 2 points or bill gates 20 years ago.

And now they laugh about the lack of baby food while sending and hoarding it at the border for illegals at the border.

Yes , they (not we) should stop this. And if they wont stop this which they wont then we should stop this. We will be called racists, nazi's and sexists for it and for good measure homophobes and transphobes. None of which makes any sense of course.

He voted no because what was actually in the bill had zero to do with building new roads and bridges and everything to do with donating it to BLM and LGBTQ programs. The fact that you only respond to headlines and the name of the bill is your problem.

They already spent over 4 trillion in a few years. Like anything matters at this point.

According to this site our debt is now over 31 trillion from 22 trillion a few years ago. That is what’s published.

They think the real debt is even higher - $142 Trillion

Considering Trump didn’t want any oversight on the 2 TRILLION stimulus package I’m surprised y’all want it here.

And, all the fraud with that money didn’t seem to bother you either. Funny that.

How can the U.S. afford it? When we need baby formula, tiny home villages for the homeless. more homeless shelters opened and maintained,

Shouldn't we take care of Americans?

We cannot pay every country, it is unfair to the American people who need help and are denied that help when they are law abiding citizens who really try.
