The Kenneth Arnold sighting in June of 1947 started the flying saucer craze, and made history. Arnold said he saw nine craft zooming through the Cascade Mountains in Washington State. This artist's depiction of the craft became famous:

But that cool, sleek-looking craft wasn't exactly what Arnold had described. His exact words were: "They were shaped like the heel of a Florsheim shoe."
Here's Arnold's sketch:

Over the next few days, there were more sightings, many by reputable people. The northwest was experiencing a UFO flap.
Then, more sightings were reported in other regions. A man in Arizona named William Rhodes took some photos on July 7th. A single shoe-heel shaped craft.

In a recent network news story featuring Congressman Tim Burchett of Tennessee, this photo was shown. Another 'shoe heel' craft.

Here's the Burchett interview.

Subject #2:
The UFO flap of 1952-1953

I got this from a pdf of the old unclassified Project Blue Book documents:

In 1952-53, there were 2000 sightings reported, with about 350 of them unexplained. Here is a short, well-made documentary about that historic UFO flap. If even half of this is true, then that was one crazy time for sightings. I believe that some ufologists consider the 1952-1954 period to be biggest flap, having the most truly unexplained sightings.

The 8 inch diameter saucer, is something I have never heard of. Maybe a drone from a larger craft? I believe a lot of UFOS are drones, just not from here on earth. Imagine how tiny the aliens would have to be, to fit in such a small disk. LOL.

Disclosure soon please! The governments of the world absolutely know more about at least some, of the origins of these craft.

Congressman Tim Burchett of Tennessee, believes in 'ancient aliens' as well. I wonder if his constituents knew that when they voted LOL.

Yea, that was an interesting encounter.

I love the Rhodes story. Great post.

The pictures are dynamic. I like them.

The encounter and his over experiences with the encounter seem to be truth.

I for one give him a thumbs up for his tenacity of only wanting to share his story.

There was a pretty cool video released a while back on Youtube where a surveyor drone captured a small drone moving extremely fast in some hill area

It shows it banking like a miniature jet would

Perhaps they are "bigger on the inside"?

Which would make some kind of sense for a "trans-dimensional" vehicle.

That "shoe heel" shape looks like it might be designed for hypersonic atmospheric flight.

Mr. Arnold's later comments were that the 'craft' were not craft at all,
but living things. Most of modern ufology is based upon severe
misquotings and mistaken core concepts, at least according to the
original witness.

I remember reading something about that, but I can't find Arnold's quote. I do know he elaborated on the sighting a few times after his initial story. Didn't he say that they flew in a straight-line formation, but also weaved and darted back and forth, which made them look like living creatures? I didn't know he actually stated they were "living".
Thanks for the info.

Kenneth initially reported his sighting with beliefs that a foreign nation was piloting aircraft in U.S. territory. He believed the craft to be from an enemy arsenal. However, Arnold soon received support from all over the world as there was no earthly explanation for what he had sighted. Arnold then began to believe that what he had sighted that summer day was a formation of craft from another world. Moreover, he believed that, rather than the craft being mechanical, they were living organisms of extraterrestrial origin.

So I suppose that Kenneth Arnold is a good example of the wish-washyness of
modern UFOlogy and perhaps even 'conflation'.

On the other hand, a sense of 'consciousness' and 'living agency' is often and I mean
often part of UFO reports (but is generally filtered out by reporting agencies).

The goal is to promote the false notion of nuts and bolts craft, that require
the milityary to get funding increases and for 'cover' to further weaponize
both near and far space.

All that said, 'UFOs' as in "nuts and bolts flying saucers" simply NEVER WERE.

and yet, all this modern religion about UFOs has sprung up.

Thanks for the info.
I remember a particularly wild story about a "living" UFO sighting that occurred in the town of Beatrice, Nebraska in the 1960s.

Two men described a huge, glowing "smoke ring" in the western sky. It moved like a fish slowly swimming. After watching it for appx. 2 to 3 minutes, they both agreed that whatever it was, it was alive, and not a machine.

I'ts certainly an interesting concept to keep an eye out for;
that 'real ufos' if any, may be 'alive'.

Now, to play devil's advocate, one might easily classify humans
as mobile carbon-based machines, with analog electro-chemical
processors (computer brains).

The line between 'alive' and 'not alive', 'organic' or 'machine'
is not very solid; it is open to interpretation.

An of course, the societal control aspect, that what? maybe
50% of all 'UFO encounters' feel 'alive' but what? maybe 95%
of those are filtere out

to encourage the fear/war-mongering of the current false
narrative about 'UFOs' ?

Reminds me of the natural occurring, within us, Flagellar Motor….

…….”A flagellum is a hairlike appendage that protrudes from certain plant and mammalian sperm cells, and from a wide range of microorganisms to provide mobility. Many protists with flagella are termed as flagellates. A microorganism may have from one to many flagella.”…..

And les not forget ….. Intelligent Design …… remember that craze?

……..”Intelligent design (ID) is a pseudoscientific set of beliefs based on the notion that life on earth is so complex that it cannot be explained by the scientific theory of evolution and therefore must have been designed by a supernatural entity.”……..

There are elements of evolution through natural selection
AND directed evolution (by humans) all over.

The jury is out on whehter 'directed evolution' is present
in a larger sense. All the facts point to no such thing
existing, but the human mind is not infinite; it's
certianly possible.

I msyelf love the concept of 'cosmic darwinism' where
multiple 'blindly' evolving universes might influence
each other through natural processes.

That would explain the anthropomorphic and fine
tuning objections, which may not be valid objections
anyway... but I like out of the box thinking.

It's a big messy subject with nothing being provable.

I read ya…

I will note that at least….the Flagellar Motor, has been proven as fact. It’s what propels sperm cells. To think that it has microscopic basic motor features Rotor, Stator, and Bushing is Amazing in it of itself.
