Remember, shortly after Joe Biden announced he was running for President (April 2019), he told a reporter that "I had to run".

I suppose that statement could means several things.

I agree. But that's not all Bernie wants. Is it.

Do you think that only the "aged" should have such access to healthcare?

If you run Trump again, he will lose again.

I wouldn't be so sure about that mate , now I personally do not want Trump to Run again .

But I'm not sure the Left can pull off another late game Miracle like last time , you see Covid was in full swing and ballet boxes were being stuffed with fraudulent ballets. So it was all to easy for them to beat Trump in 2020 , but in two years Covid is not going to be there for them to squeeze.

The Lefts only guaranteed win is if they run Michelle Obama , no one can beat her but if they don't run her then it's anyone's game really.

Granted, not every candidate endorsed by Donald Trump is going to win.

Thats unfortunate for Trump; if a single candidate endorsed by Donald Trump loses it will be a clear mandate that the country does not like Donald Trump.

And not only that, "endorsing" someone is basically saying that in your judgement he's a good guy, right for the position, like a letter of recommendation. Joe Biden says Hunter is the smartest guy he knows (probably because refusing to be his bagman would be unhealthy), so he's not exactly the greatest judge of character.

Joe Biden: " I endorse so-and-so for Governor, and Mister Laptop over here is the smartest guy I know"

(Bernie knows what working people and retirees need.)

Free stuff?

Or are you just talking about health care?

Bernie wants all healthcare coverage to include full DENTAL coverage. With America aging, that's very important.

The problems with socialized health care are many.
One is you're forced to pay for their plan, no choices of plans like now.
Also, if you've worked/studied hard your whole life and are ,rightfully so as maybe a doctor, are making more than someone who works a blue-collar job , then you will also be forced to 'pay your fair share' in premiums. Meaning possibly 2x the premium as people with lower incomes.
Also, because everyone is covered by the same provider there will be loooooooooooong waiting lists.
And you will be at the same place in the waiting list as someone who's maybe had to pay no premium (poor) , all 'equal' .

Socialism/welfare does not work, it does not provide any incentives to work/study harder, as it's punished instead of rewarded.

Ideally the most privileged tax payers would shoulder the costs, doing their civic duty as opposed to investing in social media censorship campaigns and Bitcoin portfolios.

I think the way it works in most places with socialized medicine is that a certain level of care is guaranteed to everyone. (Accounts of the efficacy of that level of care seem to vary. In the US public healthcare is nothing to write home about either). In these places there are additional options available, for a fee. Similar to how Medicare works. You get this, and if you want more you can pay a premium.

"Universal medicare" would certain cost more in taxes than the current system. You get what you pay for.

The state of this nation as we speak is the direct result of those people who decided it is better to vote for whomever is running against Trump, just because its not Trump.

So, that means that Trump was elected because it was better to not vote for Clinton.

Makes sense.

Are you suggesting the same motives apply to all voters? I hardly think that is the case, but if that is what you believe, have at it...

We have spent decades, centuries even witnessing what healthcare looks like without the benefit of calibrated taxes aimed at upper class accountability. When capitalism gets selfish, you get poverty and minimalist insurance policies.

No. Trump voters are special.

But the logic you used still applies.

Capitalism is a human creation. That makes it complicated. One can be self-selfish. One can be family-selfish. One can be community-selfish.

Selfishness is a survival mechanism. It's part our current status in the Solar System.

We are also highly social creatures which means we sort of have to think about how what we do affects others.

Its complicated, but over a number of thousands of years we've figured out that sometimes restraints are necessary.

"Sometimes restraints are necessary" is just ambiguous enough to be both accurate and dangerous. How much, where, and during what circumstance? This is why accountability is supplementary to restraint because it means privileged elitist cowards can't hide forever.

The "truth" is can be somewhat ambiguous as well. Sort of depends on your point of view.

Capitalism is not inherently bad and guns don't kill people. But neither one exists without people.

I don't recall that quote.

But I do this, "resistance is futile."
